The sixty-four hexagrams of the Book of Changes are actually the sixty-four division method and are represented by six lines. There are six lines in each of the sixty-four hexagrams, and the proportion or value of each line is different. This view is significantly different from the popular domestic analysis of Yi theory. There is no difference between the six lines in the popular view.
