The law of heaven is to reduce it a little if you have more humility, increase it a little if you have less humility; the law of earth is to reduce the fullness and flow into the low places; the law of ghosts and gods is to reduce the fullness and add blessings to the more polite and honest ones; the law of human beings is to hate complacency and love modesty. The lower hexagram is a mountain, which also means to stop when you can. If a person has endless desires, he cannot be prosperous.
