Comment: (1) Mingyi is the title of this hexagram. Mingyi has three meanings in the hexagram: one finger is the croaking pelican; two fingers the croaking bow; three fingers the sun sets. The content of the whole hexagram talks about traveling, hunting, retreating, and keeping clean, and uses popular words as the title. (2) Mingyi Yu Fei: Here is a folk song called "Jiangzhu", which is used here to illustrate the difficulty of traveling. Mingyi: used as ‘Mingyi’, which means a pelican called. Pelican is a kind of water bird , commonly known as Taohe. (3) Words: accusation, blame. (4) Ming: Here it refers to the sun. Yi: Come. Mingyi is the sun set. (5) Yi: used as "scar" means injury. (6) Use: Because. Save: Saved. Use Ma Zhuang to save Ma Zhuang: means that he is saved because of his goodness. Interpretation: Borrowing sunrise and sunset and darkness, to express the inner experience of a gentleman when traveling, especially highlighting the difficult situations on the way: hunger, the landlord's difficulties, physical injuries, and a sudden desire to leave. Of course, there are times when it goes well: the harvest is very good when hunting. But the tone of the whole hexagram highlights the difficulties of travel and the thought of retreating.
In this difficult conversation, we can clearly distinguish a feeling of fatigue and helplessness. Life is long, and the sunrise comes again. When will there be an end and where is the destination?
