On December 29, the results of the ninth "Guangdong Governance - Governance Modernization" outstanding case promotion were announced. A total of 32 outstanding cases stood out from hundreds of case selections. Among them, the case of "Building a "Five-type" Model Organization to Promote the Optimization and Upgrading of the Business Environment" by the Boluo County Party Committee Office in Huizhou City was selected as an outstanding case in the category of "Party Building Leads Social Governance Innovation".
Since this year, the Boluo County Committee Office of the Communist Party of China has carried out "deep learning, real training, and competition" cadre quality improvement and creation of "five-type" model agencies in the county office system, building a "five-type" model agency with high standards of "political, learning, innovative, service-oriented, and honest", and striving to create a team of high-quality professional office cadres who are politically strong, loyal and responsible, diligent and pragmatic, familiar with business, and efficient in operation. Today, the Boluo County office system has established a regular training and learning mechanism, which has comprehensively improved the duty performance capabilities and business level of the county's office team and created a new situation in office work. The establishment of the "Five-type" model agency also provides a strong organizational guarantee for the implementation of various tasks in the year of comprehensive improvement of the business environment in Boluo County. The main creative unit of this case is the Boluo County Committee Office of the Communist Party of China.
It is reported that the "Guangdong Governance - Governance Modernization" excellent case promotion event was initiated and hosted by Southern Newspaper Media Group , and hosted by the Southern Public Opinion Data Research Institute and the Southern Party Building Think Tank. Since the first event in 2014, it has been successfully held for nine consecutive sessions. So far, the "Guangdong Governance" activity has received thousands of innovative experiences in social governance from all over the province, and recommended a total of 261 outstanding cases of various types, bringing together the latest results of Guangdong's governance modernization. Relevant outstanding case results have been gradually compiled into volumes and included in the Guangdong governance capacity modernization case library, and a social governance research data platform has been formed, which will make continuous and active exploration of Guangdong’s social governance modernization.
In June this year, the "Guangdong Governance - Governance Modernization" 2021-2022 excellent case promotion was officially launched. Through the process of collection, preliminary selection, visits and surveys, on the afternoon of December 29, a review committee composed of party school experts, university scholars, and media representatives conducted discussions, recommendations, and reviews, and finally 32 outstanding cases stood out. The review committee unanimously believed that these outstanding cases have condensed new concepts, new practices and new experiences in social governance in Guangdong in recent years from multiple directions, demonstrating the innovative spirit of Guangdong as the vanguard of reform and opening up in the new era. This year's "Guangdong Governance" event has invited the Chinese Political Science Research Center of Peking University, the School of Politics and Public Affairs of Sun Yat-sen University, and other units as joint promotion agencies. The cases recommended will be simultaneously recommended to participate in the "China Urban Governance Innovation Case Award".
