It is expressed in writing as a horizontal line, such as "one", or two horizontal lines that break from the middle, such as "--". The former is called Yang line , and the latter is Yin line .
consists of overlapping lines to form a hexagram (pronounced as hanging). A hexagram composed of three lines is called a single hexagram, also known as a classic hexagram. The eight classic hexagrams overlap each other, and a total of sixty-four hexagrams are obtained. These hexagrams are called heavy hexagrams. The classical hexagram and the Chong hexagram are collectively called hexagrams.
Each hexagram has a hexagram painting composed of a line painting, which is the hexagram shape. Each hexagram has a name for the hexagram, which is the name of the hexagram. For example, this heavy hexagram:

Conversely, the heavy hexagram is composed of two single hexagrams (civilized hexagrams); the single hexagram (civilized hexagrams) is composed of three lines of line (or yin or yang). Six lines go up from the bottom in sequence, the lowest line is called first line , and the highest line is called the upper line. The rest are called , the second line, , the third line, the fourth line, and the fifth line respectively from the bottom to the top. This refers to the position of each line, referred to as "position". In principle, "five" is the status of the king, "four" is the status of a close minister, "three" is the high status that is not very close to the king, and "one" is a low status, but there is a possibility that the king is like the king. "First" means a status that has not yet entered the world. "Shang" means a retired person, which is the status of "no position" mentioned by Wang Bi .

In short, if you encounter "nine" when reading the Book of Changes, it is the yang line, and if you encounter "six" when you encounter "nine" and the yin line. For example, "first six" is the lowest yin line, and "first nine" is the lowest yang line. If it is "Nine Three", it is the third line from bottom to top that is the yang line; if it is "Six Five", it is the fifth line from bottom to top that is the yin line.
