The right time, place and people
Zhouyi talks about the way of heaven, the way of earth and the way of humanity, which is the so-called The Way of the Three Talents . It is derived from the sage's observation of astronomy, geography, and human affairs through hexagrams and scriptures.
The sage takes things from a distance and bodies from a close distance, and begins to make the Eight Diagrams. Relying on natural , the sun, moon, stars, , changes in seasons, animals and plants, and the history of people, the evolution of the universe and life is interpreted in the form of hexagrams. The scriptures use the method of metaphor, comparison, and analogy to understand the Dao through the observation of analogies in life. This is what the Dao is simply about. To study I Ching , we must connect it with the reality of life. The I Ching is about ourselves. The confusion encountered in life is about worldview and methodology.
The hexagrams of the Book of Changes are composed of six lines, counting from bottom to top, the first line, the second line are called earth, the third line and the fourth line are called people, and the top line and the top line are called heaven. In terms of human relations, the top line is called the ancestral temple, and the fifth line is called the ancestral temple. The fourth line is called the emperor, the fourth line is called the princes, the third line is called the duke, the second line is called the official, and the first line is called Shi Yuan . Zhouyi interprets the natural way through the changes of these six lines. Including the ways of heaven, earth, and humanity. It is all-encompassing, Yi Zhuan Lectures, the Yi is a book, vast and comprehensive, there is a way of heaven, a way of human beings, and a way of earth. It combines three talents and combines two, so six, six is not it. This is the principle of the three talents.
One yin and one yang are called Tao, and the so-called Yi Dao is yin and yang. Zhouyi explains the three talents through yin and yang, hardness and softness, benevolence and righteousness. The way of heaven talks about yin and yang, the way of earth talks about softness and hardness, and the way of humanity talks about benevolence and righteousness. Yidao is about change. Through the changes of six lines, hexagrams, and the evolution of yin and yang, the truth of natural life is revealed. Change will lead to generalization, and generalization will last for a long time. Life is endless, the great road of yin and yang. Yi Chuan said that the way to establish heaven is called Yin and Yang. The way is based on is softness and strength. The way to establish a person is benevolence and righteousness. Combining three talents and combining them into two, six strokes form a hexagram, which is divided into yin and yang. Soft and hard are alternately used, so a chapter is formed by changing six positions. It is to illustrate this principle.
