BMW X8 plug-in hybrid version of spy photos exposed

A few days ago, spy photos of the BMW X8 plug-in hybrid version were exposed.

Judging from the pictures exposed by foreign media, the new car will continue the family design of the BMW X series, and the overall look is dynamic. The front face uses a super-sized grille, while in the bumper part, the car uses a huge lower air intake, the overall shape is very individual.

According to previous news, the plug-in hybrid model will be named X8 M45e, which is expected to be equipped with a system consisting of a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine + electric motor. Among them, the maximum output of the engine is 290PS, the maximum torque is 450N·m; the maximum output of the motor is 115PS, the maximum torque is 265N·m; the comprehensive maximum power is 400PS, the maximum torque is 600N·m, matching the ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. According to foreign media reports, the BMW X8 is expected to be officially unveiled in the second half of 2021, and the BMW X8 M model will be launched a year later.
