A few days ago, Huai'an Automobile learned from relevant channels that the Audi e-tron will be launched in the first quarter of 2021. The appearance of the new car is basically the same as the imported version of the interior, and the power parameters and NEDC cruising range are slightly changed. After the domestic Audi e-tron is listed, it will compete with Mercedes-Benz EQC and Weilai ES8 models.
In appearance, the FAW-Volkswagen Audi e-tron is basically the same as the imported model, adopting new family design elements. The four horizontal lines at the bottom of the matrix LED headlights create the daytime running lights exclusive to the e-tron model, which is very sci-fi when lit. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4901/1935/1640mm, and the wheelbase is 2928mm. The body height is 12mm higher than the imported version. With 22-inch large-size wheels, its shape is more halo. At the same time, the car also uses six-piston large yellow calipers to enhance braking force and produce a strong sense of movement.
The domestic e-tron adopts the iconic through-type taillights. Because it is a pure electric model, the bottom exhaust is eliminated, making the entire rear more concise. In addition, the "FAW Audi" logo on the right side of this car indicates its domestic model identity.
In the interior, the new car adopts the latest design language, three LCD screens and a new MMI system, full of technical sense. The four-spoke multi-function steering wheel has a sense of design and recognition, while retaining e-tron's unique handlebar, novel design, simple operation and unique functions.
In terms of power, the front and rear axles of the new car are equipped with an AC asynchronous motor. The maximum power of the front motor is 115kW and the peak torque is 226N·m; the maximum power of the rear motor is 172kW and the peak torque is 314N·m. In terms of batteries, the domestic e-tron uses a ternary lithium battery pack with an energy density of 142Wh/kg, and the NEDC operating condition has a battery life of 465km.
