On November 16, 2020, the expert review of the foreign language version of the national standard GB/T 37692-2019 Fuel Consumption Rate Limits and Measurement Methods for Small Ignition Engines for Non-road Mobile Machinery, developed by Tianjin Internal Combustion Engine Research Institute The meeting was held in Haikou City, Hainan Province, and 11 experts from major complete machine manufacturers, research institutes, and testing institutions in the field of general gasoline engines attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the standard development working group first reported on the translation process, solicitation of opinions and handling, and then the experts at the meeting conducted a strict review of the standard text in terms of standard writing format and expression, faithful original text, completeness and accuracy, and grammar. Finally, The experts at the meeting agreed that this foreign language version passed the review and submitted to the standardization authority for review and release after the format was improved. The development of this standard fills the gap in the English version of my country's general engine fuel consumption standard. The implementation of the standard will serve the construction of the green "Belt and Road" and help China's general gasoline engine product brand upgrade.
