The new plant construction plan will undoubtedly bring new development impetus to Audi vehicles, enabling the plan of "Audi brand sales in China to reach 900,000 vehicles in 2022" can be realized as soon as possible.
As early as May, the SAIC Volkswagen Audi brand has planned four new models: A+ SUVe, A7L, B SUV, and C SUV. The first model, A+ SUVe, will enter the plan confirmation stage at the end of 2020. Among them, the new model of SAIC Audi A7L has been lengthened on the original model. The length of the car will exceed 5 meters, positioning the four-door coupe for medium and large sedan. The domestic A7L is built on the MLB Evo platform of Volkswagen Group. The starting price of the domestic A7L is expected to be around 450,000 yuan.
