BYD Ocean Network’s new large five-seater hybrid SUV Corvette 07 is positioned as a mid-sized SUV. A total of 6 models have been launched, with a price range of 202,800-289,800 yuan. The entire Corvette 07 series adopts BYD hybrid technology and provides three cruising range versions, namely the 100KM model equipped with DM-i, the 205KM model and the 175KM four-wheel drive model equipped with DM-p. In terms of styling, Frigate 07 is built based on the "marine aesthetics" design concept. The front face is inspired by "ripples of the ocean waves" and uses a polygonal horizontal air intake grille with matrix LED headlights. Among them, the horizontal front grille stretches the visual width of the front face. The upper through-shaped decorative strip is connected to the headlights, and the interior is inlaid with a luminous logo. With the vertical pattern as the base, the overall shape is highly recognizable.
On the side of the body, the body lines of the Corvette 07 are smooth and natural, and through different surface designs and sharp through-type waistlines, it creates a richer three-dimensional sense. In addition, the new car's side skirts and windows are all made of silver chrome trim, with hidden door handle designs and large-size wheels, giving it a sporty feel. As for the tail, the frigate 07 has a simple tail shape and is equipped with the popular through-type taillight group. The interior of the light group incorporates a three-dimensional wave shape and is matched with the chrome-plated trim strip across the tail, which is rich in layering. In terms of body size of , the length, width and height of the new car are 4820/1920/1750mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2820mm. The doors use hidden door handles, and the B-pillars and C-pillars of the car body adopt black hidden designs. The headlights extend a waistline that runs through the entire body and is connected to the taillights. The entire taillights are also a through-type design, and the interior of the taillights incorporates a three-dimensional wave shape.
As a new model of BYD Ocean Network, the Corvette 07 adopts an enveloping cockpit design. The overall interior uses smart lines, rich details, and exquisite materials to create a very marine-colored cockpit. In addition, metallic trim strips and environmentally friendly suede run directly from the door panels on both sides to the center control panel, stretching the horizontal visual width of the car while creating a delicate and soft touch. In terms of power, Corvette 07 provides DM-i version and DM-p four-wheel drive version. Both power systems use the SnapCloud plug-in hybrid dedicated 1.5Ti engine with an engine power of 102kW, of which the two-wheel drive version has an electric motor power of 145kW; the four-wheel drive version uses a newly developed rear-drive three-in-one assembly, with the total power of the dual motors increased to 295kW and a total torque of 656N·m.
