This sexy black "beauty" has a 413 cubic inch (6.8 liter) V8 engine with a maximum power of 385PS. The drivetrain is mated to a three-speed "Torque Flite" push-button automatic transmission.
Compared with the previous model, the Chrysler 300E has a new grille structure with red decorative strips and a new logo style. The main change is in the engine. For the first time, Chrysler changed the hemispherical combustion chamber into a wedge-shaped combustion chamber, so it is also called the Gold Lion engine!
The Chrysler 300E was only produced for one year in 1959, and was available in two body styles: hardtop and convertible. According to the official introduction, only 140 convertible models were produced, and only 25 were verified to be in existence, making them very rare on the market.
