On the evening of December 26, Land Rover officially announced that its Land Rover Defender 130 model has started pre-sale, with the official pre-sale price starting from 1.198 million yuan. The new

car can be regarded as an extended version of the Defender 110. The body has been lengthened and has more ample rear overhang space, so that the third row of seats can be arranged.

In terms of appearance, the front face shape of the new car is consistent with that of the Defender 90/110 models on sale. The air intake grille has a relatively flat shape and is equipped with a banner-style decorative strip inside. At the same time, a nameplate is added for decoration, which is very recognizable; the headlight groups on both sides adopt a rectangular design, with lenses and semi-circular daytime running lights integrated inside.

The shape of the lower surrounding part is relatively thick, and honeycomb decorative panels are used as embellishments. The shape of the front lip is also relatively tough, which effectively adds to the hardcore atmosphere.

In terms of side styling, the shape of the front half of the body has not changed. The roof line is relatively straight, and the suspended roof creates a very fashionable visual effect. The through-type waistline also makes the visual effect look slender and majestic; the shape of the wheel eyebrows and side skirts are relatively tough, further enhancing the sense of strength; the rear overhang is obviously lengthened, so the body proportions seem to have changed slightly.

In terms of tail styling, the external spare tire is not missing. The overall shape is not significantly different from the Defender 90/110 version. The vertically arranged blackened taillight group is very recognizable when lit, and the shape of the lower surround is also tough enough.

In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5358/2105/1970mm respectively, and the wheelbase is still 3022mm. Compared with the Defender 110, the body is 340mm longer, and the wheelbase remains unchanged.

There are also no changes to the interior, which provides a four-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a full LCD instrument panel, a suspended central control screen and an electronic gear lever; the center console has a strong sense of hierarchy and a strong hardcore atmosphere.

In terms of seats, the new car is available in 5-seat and 8-seat versions. The 8-seat model adopts a 2+3+3 layout. When the third row of seats is upright, the trunk volume reaches 389 liters; when the third row of seats is folded, the trunk volume reaches 1232 liters.

In terms of power, the new car is also equipped with a 3.0T L6 engine matched with a 48V light hybrid system, with a maximum power of 400 horsepower and a peak torque of 550N·m. It is matched with an 8AT gearbox and a four-wheel drive system.
