On December 19, Buick released a set of official pictures of the Electra E5. The new car is positioned as a five-seater pure electric mid-to-large SUV and is Buick's first mass-produced model based on the Alto platform. The car also adopts a new family-style design concept, giving us a different visual look and feel. It is understood that this medium and large SUV will be delivered in the first half of next year.
Judging from the official pictures, the Buick Electra E5 follows the design language of the Buick Electra-X concept car. Split headlights are used, with vertical LED headlights distributed on both sides of the front hood, and the Buick brand's new "tri-color shield" logo in the middle. At the same time, the new car’s trapezoidal front grille is closed, and the interior is decorated with diamond elements.
On the side of the car body, the multi-waistline shape gives the new car a dynamic body posture. The interior of the new car has not been exposed. Based on previously exposed spy photos of the interior, the Buick Electra E5 will adopt a dual-screen design consisting of a central control display + LCD instrument.
