Recently, the issue of SAIC Volkswagen ID series black screen has caused heated discussion. On December 6, a reporter from Beijing Youth Daily learned that the official Weibo of "SAIC Volkswagen-Volkswagen Brand" publicly responded that it had formulated corresponding technical solutions and there were two measures to restore the screen display independently.

"Recently cooled down. I woke up in the morning and found that the central control monitor and the main driver's monitor were both black. It has appeared twice." In addition to the users of SAIC Volkswagen ID.4X, SAIC Volkswagen ID.6 X users are also complaining that "the screen is completely black, all functions (required to be operated by the host) cannot be used, the turn signal is flashing without sound, lane keeping and early warning cannot be used, which has a huge impact on safety."

This black screen incident of the car machine is not an isolated case. On December 1, some SAIC Volkswagen ID tram owners collectively issued a "Letter to SAIC Volkswagen" and listed specific faults in the letter. These include frequent disconnection of the vehicle and machine, black screens in large and small screens, and problems with the entire vehicle after the vehicle is powered on.

In response to this, SAIC Volkswagen responded that if the vehicle encounters a black screen during use, please do not worry. The owner can automatically restore the screen display through the following two measures: long press the power button in the lower left corner of the display screen until the central control screen lights up; after locking the car, wait for the vehicle to sleep until the SOS light goes out, and restart the vehicle. If you need to turn on the air conditioner when the screen is black, you can double-click the max button on the left side of the steering wheel and on the lighting control panel under the air outlet of the air conditioner.

If the above method cannot be restored, from now on, you can choose the nearest authorized dealer, which will conduct a comprehensive inspection and troubleshooting for you.

Some car owners did not buy this reply, saying that it was a bit perfunctory and did not cure the root cause. In response to a reporter from Beijing Youth Daily, SAIC Volkswagen customer service said that it has not received any recall notice or other unified upgrade measures.
