Recently, Toyota Motor released a new car preheating map and confirmed that it will be named Grand Highlander. The new car will be officially unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show held on February 8, 2023.

Toyota says the new Grand Highlander will be "advanced, spacious, powerful" and "the ultimate road trip car is coming for family adventures", which will be the "perfect complement" of Toyota's lineup. According to earlier reports, the new SUV will be positioned between Highlander (Highlander) and Sequoia (Sequoia).

After dimming the Toyota preheating map, we can see that the new car has a "Hybrid Max" nameplate posted on the lower left corner, proving that it will use an advanced hybrid system.

Toyota's "Hybrid Max" nameplate was previously used on the new Crown Platinum. It is equipped with a 2.4T four-cylinder engine hybrid system, with a maximum power of 345 horsepower (254 kilowatts), a peak torque of 400 lb-rumble (542 Nm), and is matched with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
