Case 1: BYD new energy vehicle parts production and energy expansion project
In July 2022, the "BYD new energy vehicle parts production and energy expansion project" settled in Xi'an. The total investment of the project is as high as 15 billion yuan and covers a total area of 3,909 mu. It mainly builds electric assembly factories, motor factories, Seiko Centers, gear factories, electronic control factories, power plants, brake factories and other core parts production factories of new energy vehicles; and a high-speed test runway supporting BYD Xi'an R&D Center. After the completion of this project, it will not only increase the production capacity of BYD new energy vehicle , but also help Xi'an Hi-tech Zone to form a complete industrial chain in the new energy vehicle parts industry.
Case 2: Pure electric double-decker bus is delivered and operated in London, UK
In 2019, BYD and British bus manufacturer Alexander Dennis (ADL) announced that the Enviro400EV, the pure electric double-decker bus jointly created by the two parties for the first time, was officially delivered to the operators of the London Transport Agency and started operations. This is the first large-scale pure electric double-decker bus order in London that BYD and ADL jointly won in 2018, with a total of 37 units. On May 27, 2022, BYD was successfully delivered in the 1,000th pure electric bus in the UK.
