Today, it was learned from overseas media Carscoops that Toyota has released a new Lingfang Harrier in the Japanese market and added a plug-in hybrid version. local media predicts that the price will be between 3,128,000 yen and 6,200,000 yen (21,620-42,850 US dollars), starting at approximately 150,000 yuan. The new version of Lingfang's fuel and oil-electric hybrid version will be launched on October 4, while the newly added plug-in hybrid version will be launched on October 31.

The most concerned thing about this new release is the addition of the PHEV plug-in version. Lingfang Harrier PHEV system consists of 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine + dual motors + battery. In addition to the engine having 174 horsepower/219 Nm of torque, the rear motor has 54 horsepower/121 Nm of torque and the front motor has 180 horsepower/270 Nm of torque. The combined power of the dual motor can reach 302 horsepower, and the power performance is very strong.

Lingfang Harrier PHEV is equipped with a 18.1kWh ternary lithium battery pack. The official said that the pure electric range is 93 kilometers (58 miles). This range is a bit short in front of a number of domestic new energy vehicles. After all, most domestic PHEV models now have batteries around 40kWh, and the pure electric range is around 150km.

In addition to the newly added plug-in hybrid version, the current fuel models and oil-electric hybrid models have also been updated, such as security perception kit, 12.3-inch infotainment display, on-board WiFi and 12.3-inch LCD digital instrument panel, etc.

There is no obvious change in the fuel version/oil-electric hybrid version. The center grid of the plug-in hybrid version has become a honeycomb mesh structure, and the left front wing has added a plug-in hybrid logo to distinguish it from the fuel version/oil-electric hybrid version.

The Lingfang Harrier on sale in China only has two versions: fuel and dual engine (oil-electric hybrid). I wonder if the plug-in version just released is domestically produced. If it is domestically produced, what do you think the price is appropriate?
