Mercedes-AMG previewed on the social website that the new generation of E Performance models will be officially released at September 21 (10:00 Beijing time on the same day), and a preview picture that is obviously identifiable as the body shape of the C-Class sedan. Combined with the original factory's posts that the countdown to 63 hours will be launched, comprehensive information shows that the new car to be published is the new generation of Mercedes-AMG C 63 car series.
Although the original factory has not been officially revealed, the prototype model of the Mercedes-AMG C 63 car series has actually appeared in a low-key manner in disguise as early as the 2022 Goodwood Speed Carnival. The new car has a more fancy front bar and air dam shape with richer lines, and at the rear there is a larger quadrilateral tail tube shape of the 63 family and a longer ducktail tail wing. The 20-inch high-performance bead set under your feet is the biggest difference between the C 63 prototype and the current C 43 4Matic.
The new C 63 series will abandon the previous generation's 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine and use 2.0-liter E Performance power. This is an AMG inline 4-cylinder engine with 330 kW (449 horsepower) output code M 139, paired with an exhaust gas turbocharged derived from F1 technology, electronically controlled, and a motor that can output 150 kW (204 horsepower) to output up to 480 kW (653 horsepower).
