According to the official sales data for November released by the China Passenger Car Association recently, the wholesale sales of the domestic narrow passenger car market in November 2022 were 2.029 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 5.7%, and a month-on-month decrease of 7.5%; retail sales were 1.648 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 9.3% and a month-on-month decrease of 10.6%.

From the perspective of wholesale sales, among the top 15 auto manufacturers in November this year, a total of 8 independent brand auto companies were on the list, which rarely exceeded the number of overseas brands and won the first, second and third place in the sales of passenger car companies in November. Among them, BYD Auto has far led the sales volume, winning the sales championship of automobile manufacturers with a sales volume of 229,942 units.

Gely Auto ranked second, with corporate wholesale sales in November 145,070 vehicles. SAIC-GM-Wuling followed closely, with sales reaching 125,989 units in November.

Toyota brand performed better than Volkswagen brand. GAC Toyota's wholesale sales in November were 85,200 units, ranking tenth, with a slight increase of 0.2% year-on-year. However, the sales volume of FAW Toyota is only 65,837 units, nearly 20,000 less than GAC Toyota, ranking only 13th.

BMW Brilliance was on the list, with wholesale sales in November reaching 58,527 vehicles, ranking 14th, an increase of 28.6% year-on-year. Beijing Benz failed to list.

As a frequent visitor to the top 15 sales of automakers, Dongfeng Nissan and Honda, the wholesale sales of brands such as Dongfeng Nissan and Honda, failed to be on the list.

In terms of retail sales of passenger cars by car manufacturers, BYD Auto ranked first with a sales volume of 217,624 units, with far ahead of its sales. Geely Auto ranked second, with passenger car retail sales in November of 126,437. FAW-Volkswagen fell to third place, with retail sales of 116,622 units.
