The 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera T that car fans long for is finally here.

2023 Porsche 911 Carrera T, using the same 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged horizontal six-cylinder engine as Carrera, equipped with a standard seven-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch, delivering the same 379 horsepower and 449 Nm of torque, with a top speed of up to 290 km/h.
Porsche says that it takes 4.3 seconds for the Carrera T to complete 100 km acceleration in manual mode, and only 3.8 seconds in PDK mode, which is close to the high-performance Carrera GTS. The
Carrera T is not as powerful as the standard Carrera, but the PDK-equipped Carrera T saves 100 pounds (3254 pounds in total). Porsche reduces the weight of the car by removing the rear seats, but can be added for free if the customer intends to take his kids to school. Other weight loss measures include reducing sound insulation material , thinner window glass and smaller batteries.
Like its predecessor, the Carrera T is equipped with a standard mechanical limited-slip differential with Porsche torque vectoring, making cornering a breeze by applying some braking pressure to the inner wheels. The standard Sport Chrono package improves handling, which is used in conjunction with the Porsche active suspension management system Sport (not available on the basic Carrera, optional on the Carrera S).
Visually, the Carrera T stands out from the standard Carrera thanks to the titanium gray Carrera S wheels with 20 inches in front and 21 inches in the rear. Special grey tones, along with a black sport exhaust system, make the darker exterior theme more perfect. The standard colors of
Carrera T include black, white, hooded red and racing yellow, as well as optional metallic colors such as ink black, gentian blue, ice gray and GT silver. Porsche will offer special colors such as chalk, ruby stars, carmine , shark blue or python green. The Carrera T also offers the option of "paint by sample" with 110 new shades added. In terms of interior, the Carrera T cockpit is in dark gray tones, which complements the matte black trim and highlight black inlay. The optional Carrera T interior kit adds seat belts and stripes to the center of the slate grey or lizard green seating, along with decorative stitching and a “911” logo on the headrest. The brand will also give away a set of floor mats with logos and stitches in the above colors.
Other internal options include 18-way adaptive sports seat Plus even lighter full bucket seats (if selected, it prevents rear seats from re-entry). Leather can also be added to the Carrera T's door armrests, panels, center consoles and dashboards.
Porsche says the 2023 911 Carrera T will be available for US dealers at $118,050 in spring 2023, $10,500 above the base Carrera ($107,550) and $6,400 below the Carrera S ($124,450) and will start deliveries in spring 2023.
