In terms of appearance, SAIC MAXUS MIFA 9 adopts a borderless design similar to that of a spaceship. The "Star Array Light Language" matrix headlights and the "halberd light language" fantasy taillights have an overall design that is quite avant-garde. In addition, the car is also equipped with 19-inch Phantom low-wind resistance wheels, which enhances the sporty attributes of the car to a certain extent.
In terms of vehicle size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5270×2000×1840mm respectively, and the wheelbase reaches 3200mm. On the premise of satisfying the comfortable sitting posture of passengers in the second row, the effective legroom in the third row reaches 980mm, and the shoulder room reaches a maximum width of 1570mm, realizing the "everyone is a VIP" experience for passengers.
The most eye-catching thing about the rear of the car is the taillight group, which largely follows the design of the concept car and has a very sharp overall visual experience. At the same time, the new car will also be equipped with a small spoiler above the rear, which enhances the sporty look of the vehicle. In addition, MIFA 9 provides 6 unique colors. Auspicious Blue + black two-color roof, obsidian black, mica blue, dynasty red, pearlescent white, meteorite gray + black two-color roof are available for consumers to choose from.
In terms of interior, MIFA 9’s interior design focuses on a simple and avant-garde design style, providing four interior colors: deep starry night blue, pure black mysterious, elegant gentleman brown and poetic sky blue. The car's dashboard, IP lower cladding, seat armrests, front and rear door cladding and other areas are all wrapped in soft materials. The ABCD pillars, sun visors, roof and other areas of the entire car are equipped with suede suits to enhance the luxurious touch.
In terms of comfort configuration, MIFA 9 creates an immersive sci-fi cockpit. The entire car is equipped with VIP-level seats, and the world's first "shadow-following" function makes everyone in the car a VIP. At the same time, the car is also equipped with a yacht-level panoramic sunroof, large side windows and a car width of 2 meters, giving all passengers an open space experience.
Thanks to the support of Qualcomm 8155+ MediaTek 8666 dual high-performance cockpit chips, Spider Zhilian’s smart cockpit system can realize “one-button control of the entire car” whether in the front or rear rows with voice or touch screen.
In terms of seats, MIFA 9 is designed with all three rows of electric slide rails. The first, second and third rows of seats can slide forward and backward, ensuring the flexibility of the MPV's internal space and easily realizing rapid changes in space layout. When full, a 32+26+20-inch suitcase can be easily placed in the car. The length of the third-row guide rail is 1 meter, and the front and rear sliding stroke reaches a maximum of 400mm in its class, which can be easily expanded. In addition, MIFA 9 also has a "luggage space mode" that can be activated with one button. The second and third rows will automatically move forward to release a maximum of 2179 liters of luggage space.
In terms of power, based on the new generation E2 architecture, MIFA 9 adopts SAIC Group new generation intelligent and efficient electric drive system, equipped with a 90-degree ternary lithium battery with an energy density of 195wh/kg, CLTC cruising range of more than 560km, and 100 kilometers of electricity. It consumes only 17.1 kilowatt-hours of electricity.
In terms of intelligent assisted driving, MIFA 9 is equipped with the L2++-level UTOPILOT high-end intelligent driving system, which benefits from the support of Horizon Journey 3 intelligent driving chip and TI TDA4 chip, 5 millimeter wave radar , and 7 high-definition cameras. With the support of other hardware, MIFA 9 has achieved the first "3-speed segment" smart driving scene coverage of high speed, low speed, and zero speed (parking) in the MPV industry.
SAIC Maxus MIFA family
MIFA is a newly created brand sequence of SAIC Maxus . Its name comes from Maximum, Intelligent, Friendly and Artistic, which symbolizes perfection, wisdom, friendliness and elegance.
SAIC MAXUS MIFA 5 is divided into pure electric version and plug-in hybrid version, specially designed for family travel. It is equipped with a 12.3-inch high-definition central touch screen and dual 12.3-inch high-definition LCD instrument combination, and is equipped with an L2 level intelligent driving assistance system.There are also two power options for MIFA 6. The pure electric version has a comprehensive cruising range of more than 520km on the CLTC cycle and can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in just 35 minutes; the plug-in hybrid version has a comprehensive fuel consumption of only 100 kilometers according to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is 1.5L, and its maximum comprehensive cruising range is nearly 900km.
In addition, SAIC Maxus also brings MIFA hydrogen, which has a hydrogen storage capacity of 6.4kg and can fill up a 70MPA high-pressure hydrogen bottle in just 3 minutes. The NEDC operating range is as high as 605km and the hydrogen consumption per 100 kilometers is 1.18kg. Thanks to its forward-looking layout in the field of hydrogen energy, SAIC MAXUS has also become the first automobile company to realize large-scale demonstration operations of hydrogen energy passenger cars.
With the release of the MIFA brand, SAIC MAXUS will launch more than ten new energy models that are close to users' real usage scenarios in the next three years, achieving the goal of new energy sales accounting for more than 50% in 2025.
