In ancient times, Rhoshe City in the Kingdom of Mahata was very uneasy for a long time because there was a villain named Yangomoro who killed and set fire everywhere. But he is very capable and has almost no opponents. Although everyone hates him very much, he can't do anything to him.
After Shakyamuni became a Buddha, he preached everywhere in order to preach his thoughts. Once he came to the Jetavana Garden, which was near the city of Raja.
Before dawn that morning, Sakyamuni walked out of the Jerusalem tree alone to the Lonely Garden. In fact, it was the most basic practice - going out to beg for food.
But on this day, when Sakyamuni was walking on the streets of Raksha City, he found that the atmosphere was very mysterious. The originally quiet and peaceful city is now heavily guarded, with patrol soldiers everywhere and questioning the passing pedestrians.
Fortunately, Sakyamuni had been in Raja City for a while, and everyone was familiar with him and did not question him. However, this result also affected his begging for food, and he did not receive any donations after walking several places.
Finally, Sakyamuni stopped at a family. Before that, Sakyamuni had been to this family several times. The owner was very charitable and generously gave food every time. But today there was no movement and the door was closed tightly.
Sakyamuni didn't say anything, but just stood quietly outside the door. The master was actually standing behind the door, looking out through the crack of the door. He saw that Sakyamuni was respected by everyone outside, so he quickly opened the door and pulled him in, and immediately closed the door.
The owner still took out the food and gave it to Sakyamuni. He also asked him not to rush out, because it was very dangerous outside, so it was relatively safe to stay here.
It turned out that the murderous devil Yangjimoro came to Raksha City, and King Posenathian is searching for the whole city.
The master also told Shakyamuni that Yangzuomoro was a demon king who killed people without blinking. To this day, there is a collar hanging around his neck, and the collar was made of the finger bones of the person he killed.
It is said that Yangzuomoro has spoken that he wants to collect finger bones of a hundred people. Now there are 99, and the last one is missing.
Sakyamuni asked about Yangjumoro casually, and the master also heard that although the guy killed someone, he never touched the property of the dead.
Sakyamuni finally said, isn’t it just a Yangjimoro? Why are you so afraid of him? King Persenaut also did not need to send troops to make a big deal.
It turned out that Yangjimoro once defeated a team of forty or fifty people by himself. Not only did he say that he was unscathed, but only three opponents went back alive.
At this time, Sakyamuni had already eaten the food and stood up and left immediately, completely disobeying the master's kind advice.
After leaving the house, Sakyamuni walked alone on the street, with his direction and speed completely different from usual.
As soon as he walked out of the city gate, he heard someone shouting loudly behind him and stopped. Sakyamuni ignored it, but continued to bow his head and walk slowly. The person behind
seemed very angry and continued to shout: Monk in front, I order you to stop immediately.
Sakyamuni actually knew that the person who shouted behind was the legendary Yangzuomoro, but he had no intention of being afraid at all, and there was no sign of stopping. He still moved forward slowly without rushing, which was no different from the previous speed.
Yangjumoro seemed to be angry by the monk in front of him, and immediately ran after him, still shouting loudly, saying, "You dare not listen to me, I will make you look good later."
At this time, Sakyamuni was actually almost sixty years old. He held the beggar bowl in his hand and slowly walked forward without looking back. Yangzuomoro quickly chased after him, and soon ran to Sakyamuni and shouted loudly: Why don’t you stop?
Sakyamuni still did not stop at this time. While continuing to move forward, he said softly to the evil spirit in front of him: Yangzuomoro, I have stopped a long time ago, but you are just yourself.
Yangzuomoro was confused by the words of Sakyamuni. He thought he was fooling himself, so he reached out to stop Sakyamuni and stared at him fiercely.
For some reason, Sakyamuni looked at him like this. Not long after, Yangjimoro, who was originally as fierce as a wolf in his eyes, slowly showed a confused look.
He even couldn't understand it himself. Before today, no matter who he saw him, he would be frightened. Why is the old monk in front of him not only not afraid of himself, but also makes him feel a little closer?
Yangzuomoro asked loudly: You monk, you obviously didn’t stop, why did you say I didn’t stop? If you can't convince me, I will kill you.
Sakyamuni said lightly: Yangzuomoro, I have stopped a long time ago, and stopped hurting others. Since then, I have only known how to protect others.
But you have been stubborn and have been hurting the world and harming others, and you are still running wildly on the road of no return. Isn’t it that I have stopped, but that you have not stopped?
Hearing this, Yangzuomoro suddenly knelt down in front of Sakyamuni, repenting of his evil karma, and asking Sakyamuni to accept himself as his disciple.
Sakyamuni accepted the disciple of Yangjumora, and presided over the precepts of the monks for him, and gave him a Dharma name called Buhe.
Therefore, what Sakyamuni said was to stop was actually to warn Yang Jumora to stop his evil deeds, and that would stop the evil cause, so that he could reap good results.
