Because of their existence
Only then did we find the way to awaken
Because of their guidance
Only then did we have the confidence to go on this path
Buddha When we first became enlightened, we felt that the Dharma we realized was far from the cognition of sentient beings, and it was probably difficult to be accepted by others. We also thought about whether to preach the Dharma. Of course, the Buddha will definitely preach the Dharma because he has infinite compassion and has the vows to practice the Bodhisattva's practice for a long time. It is impossible not to preach the Dharma. The key is that someone asks for the Dharma.
If sentient beings do not have any desire and devotion to the Dharma, no matter how special the Dharma is, it will not work. Later, the Brahma King diligently advised the Buddha to preach with various offerings. This is why the Buddha preached for forty-five years and talked about the sutras for more than 300 times, so that later Buddhists have the opportunity to listen to the Dharma and practice according to the Dharma.
We should use the vast mind and actions like Samantabhadra Bodhisattva , and use the Buddhas in the ten directions throughout the universe and the Dharma Realm as the objects of prayer. At the same time, we should also pray to Bodhisattvas, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and all the good teachers in the world to ask them to teach the Dharma to sentient beings and give them guidance. The existence of
is the hope of sentient beings. Only when we realize the value of Dharma can we realize the meaning of asking for the Dharma, develop a sincere heart for asking for the Dharma, hold hands together and pray devoutly.
The purpose of seeking the Dharma is to ignite the lamp of the Dharma for sentient beings full of confusion, troubles and pain in the samsara, drive away inner ignorance, and guide them to liberate from reincarnation and towards awakening. It is of great significance.
Only when the Dharma appears in the world can sentient beings see hope. Because when the Buddha became enlightened, he discovered that every sentient being has consciousness and the potential to save himself. This discovery is very important, otherwise we will always be in ignorance and will not find a way out or see the light. Asking for Dharma means asking the Buddha to hand over the key to enlightenment to us.
From all Buddhas in the ten directions to all Bodhisattvas and good teachers, they are all teachers and role models who guide sentient beings to awaken. Especially our teacher, Sakyamuni Buddha, is a perfect example. Because of these saints living in the world, we know that there is another way to awaken in the endless cycle of reincarnation, and many people are moving from confusion to awakening through this path. It is precisely because of the guidance of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and good teachers that we have the confidence to embark on this path and know how to go.
Only hope that Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and good teachers will be merciful to us, live in the world forever, and do not give up the suffering sentient beings who are immersed in the samsara of reincarnation. Because they are the beacons that illuminate the dark world. Without their guidance, we will flow into the vast sea of suffering, and in ignorance, afflictions and karma, we will not see the direction at all.
