Practitioners who have achieved great achievements in ancient times must first have extraordinary insights. The so-called extraordinary insight means that you cannot protect the knowledge and views you cultivated from childhood to adulthood as your own treasure. All our knowledge and insights - what we know and what we see are produced in a specific historical environment and civilized background.
Although there are many rules in the Zen hall, these rules are necessary conditions for cultivating a person as a great responsibility and achieving Mahayana Bodhisattva. As a person who is working hard in meditation, he must be unique in his views and transcend the three realms. That is, with the knowledge we have learned and the spirit of Buddhism, we must have the vision of Vajra and wisdom, sweep away all false thoughts and obsessions, and finally see through the world of body and mind at a glance. Without seeing through the momentum of the world at a glance, we cannot achieve the great aspirations of Mahayana Bodhisattvas.
Because the most important thing about is to open your insights. Whether forward or reverse, it is shown in front of us, and we can all transcend the ordinary attachments of favor, right and wrong, suffering and happiness, love and hate. This is true for the environment, and for fellow Taoists; this is true for the ruthless mountains, rivers and earth, and for sentient beings and various situations. Therefore, in our concept and in our own mind, we must sweep away all of what we have learned, learned, done, and held to the past. Only when we sweep away our persistence can we have corresponding opportunities.
Therefore, in the Zen hall, it is unreasonable and only the popular board; if it makes sense, it is wrong. During the process of meditation, you must avoid thinking about the various Buddhist teachings. Don’t think about Buddhism, what is said, what is said by the master; how to explain this sutra, how to teach the old man. Doing all kinds of thinking is of no help to our view, so we must abandon all delusions and obsessions. We have been obsessed with enough knowledge and pain we think are. Therefore, this extraordinary view is the fundamental entry point for achieving all Buddhas of the three ages. Without this entry point, we can only look at the sky from a well - we may not be able to see it yet. The Bodhisattva of the first stage breaks a part of ignorance and realizes a part of the Dharma body. That is called sitting in a well and observing the sky. We were sitting in the well and looking at the ceiling was almost the same.
So if you don’t have any extraordinary insights, you will establish your own various thinking differences in knowledge and views. The so-called conceiving and thinking about it is there, thinking about it, thinking about it; in fact, the problem that has been figured out is all dreams, not real. When you are in the seventh grade, you must change your mind and throw away this brain that once made us happy and painful. Don’t do this brain. This brain makes us shed tears, suffer, and suffer. If you use this brain again, this seven will be in vain. If we are an intellectual, educated, and have studied philosophy, we will know that in history, there are various schools of philosophy, both ancient and modern, and abroad. All these ideas are basically positioned in the world, based on the existence of "I". We should not think that we have a lot of knowledge, nor do we think that we have mastered a lot of skills, but we should give up all our lives. It means that no matter how many karma, good things, or merits we have in the past, we will converge our eyes and go straight to the outside of the three realms.
With this extraordinary view, your thoughts and actions will not fall into the mortal world. This is a very important prerequisite for seven-day trials. The so-called shattering of the void and sinking the earth means that his views are truly extraordinary. There is no law in the three realms that can frame him, completely free, invisible and formless. We must not only focus on this meditation hall, see that the person is sitting crooked and that person is not able to sit; see how the place is, how the place is... we cannot be short-sighted so that we only look in front of us. Only by being exceptional insight can one cultivate extraordinary talents. Without looking outside the three realms, we will not only be unable to be liberated by ourselves, but also be even more impossible to help others to be liberated. Bodhicitta is just developed and cannot be implemented. This is crucial.
