Therefore, true practice is not the same as talking about soldiers on paper. The so-called doing something, nothing to train the mind, whether it is to solve the complex and specific mundane things in front of you, or to practice The heart of the heart is the same difficulty and hard work.

A generation of gods and monks need to be in their sixties to get an epiphany. It can be seen that epiphany is not as easy as many delusional people understand. From this we can draw a conclusion:

In fact, such a person does have a very bad life. In the process of communicating with Hou Shan, I know that she can only make more than one thousand yuan a month and is owed by the company. Salary and personal emotions are not settled. The family is still patriarchal. If you don't mix well, you have to take care of a younger brother.

In short, life is a mess. She wants to change this distressed state, but she is unwilling to put in time and effort. In fact, Hou Shan has encountered many people, and they are typical of Chengmeng.

People who have no perseverance may become obsessed because of their loose minds, and those who have perseverance may become obsessed because of the enlightenment after enlightenment.

The first type of maturity is actually the most common in our lives, and we can easily understand it. We find that a person’s life and work are in a situation where people like this are generally 100% The state of becoming Mongolian.

This kind of person is characterized by a "victim complex", the specific manifestation is to attribute everything they encounter to external reasons, and the whole world is sorry for them.

The second state of enlightenment is not understood by many people. Many people who have not practiced and enlightened will stubbornly think that after enlightenment, a person will become omnipotent and omnipotent like a "fairy", otherwise , The epiphany is so valuable.

Actually, this is a misunderstanding of enlightenment. If we look at the enlightenment process of Master Xuyun, this misunderstanding can be resolved.

The state of Master Xuyun’s enlightenment:

"When you open your eyes, you can see a big light, the inside and out are clear, the walls are visible, the boats in the river, and the trees on both sides of the river, you can know everything."

From the time point of view, Xuyun's meditation should be the first to hit the seventh, and then to the eighth seventh (the eighth seventh of the twelfth lunar month), nearly two months.

During this period, the old monk Xuyun estimated that he was too excited because of the meditation, and eagerly wanted to keep his responsibility, so he used concentration to observe things.

A small number of people with wisdom roots and great benefits can reach this level, and then get stuck in this kind of pleasure, such as Lu Zhishen in the Water Margin.

He doesn't cultivate good fruits in his life, but loves murder and arson.

Suddenly he opened the golden rope, and the jade lock was torn off here.

Huh! A letter from the Qiantang River came up, and today I know I am me.

Lu Zhishen was a rare "chivalrous man" among the heroes of Liangshan in the Water Margin.

However, after enlightenment, he passed away. This is the home of many eminent monks.

The knowledge of passing away is that these eminent monks and great virtues are indulged in the pleasure of centering, unable to get rid of it, and have completed themselves.

Many people don't understand after reading this, self-consummation is not very good, it is very good, but it is not the highest state of Buddhism.

Practicing self-consummation is the Hinayana Buddhism. Consummation ends. It does not increase or disappear.

It is Mahayana Buddhism to cultivate all living beings to perfection. Consummation is the beginning. You must keep this rare and useful body to save all sentient beings.

If Master Xuyun is not savvy enough, I am afraid that he will pass away at the age of 56 in all likelihood.

Fortunately, the destiny calls, Master Xuyun is destined to keep this useful body, good at spreading the Dharma.

His hands were scalded by boiling water, the 56-year-old self-fulfilling virtual cloud has passed away, and the 119-year-old virtual cloud that saves all living beings has nirvana.

So Master Xuyun wrote two Buddhist verses. The first:

"The cup falls to the ground, the sound is smashed, the void is shattered, and the mad mind rests immediately."

was originally obsessed with distracting the mind and unable to enter concentration. The obstacle was broken in the first stage; then the obstacle that was obsessed with centering and ignored the reality, after being scalded, it broke after hearing that the cup was broken.

After meditation, the old monk felt that he was extraordinary and sanctified, and he felt that he had found a home, but when his hand was hot, the cup broke, and the home and self of his delusion disappeared like bubbles (the family was broken and the people died). This is beyond words. .

Use this mind that has no attachments to see the world again, the four seasons of impermanent reincarnation, the seemingly constant mountains, rivers and earth, which one is not Tathagata?

The enlightenment of the old monk Xuyun can be said to be very convincing. First of all, the fact that it is too late to meditate is very realistic. The five covers is too difficult to surrender, not to mention the real burn. Practicing is a long and arduous struggle that cannot be captured overnight.

Second is the attachment that arises from meditation, which is hard to avoid. Otherwise, the "Srangama Sutra" would not be described as the Fifty Great Yin Demons.

Finally, the chance of the old monk breaking the evil spirit is very good. It would be inappropriate and too soft if you call out concentration by yourself, or call yourself out by others.

Only the intense reality of being scalded and the cup being broken can make people feel painful and frightened, so that they can wake up like a dream.

The enlightenment process of Master Xuyun is actually the first nine lines of the Hemeng Gua:

Supplement: the first nine: strikes Meng, it is disadvantageous for Mi, Li Yu Mi.

"Xiang" said: "Using Yu Mi", up and down.

Meng Gua is a thorough explanation of how a person is enlightened from childhood to adulthood. When we are still in a state of ignorance,We need to send out and cover up.

But gaining knowledge does not mean that we can get rid of ignorance. On the contrary, many people have carried on their shoulders the ship of knowledge that ferryed us from here to shore for a lifetime, even if it is very hard. Willing to put it down.

some people come back from studying abroad and think they should do whatever they want;

some people think they should do whatever they want after they have passed the judicial examination Do whatever you want.

This kind of people are actually people who have carried the ship of knowledge for a lifetime. After learning a little knowledge, they think they are great. Hou Shan has even seen some people in the Guoxue group who call themselves the deity of the Great Tathagata , This kind of person is just learning nerves.

So how to break the knowledge barrier, you need to be childish, like the old monk Xuyun, to empty yourself, but emptying itself is not the purpose, the purpose of emptying is to load more things and make yourself more accommodating. The majestic atmosphere is like Baichuanguihai.

So what if a person's understanding is very poor and he can't restore his childish state by himself?

At this time, you need to hit Meng. There are three ways to hit Meng.

The first is like Zen Master Xuyun. It is a coincidence, through the action of burning the hand and scaring the cup, to realize oneself.

The second one is that the comprehension is relatively poor, there is no way to realize it, and it needs someone to fend for it.

"If an iron room is absolutely windowless and difficult to break, there are many sleeping people in it, and they will soon die of suffocation. However, you do not feel the sorrow of death from falling asleep to death. Qian Xuantong said: "However, since a few people are up, you can't say that there is no hope of destroying this iron house." "

These are the three ways of hitting. Either realize yourself, or have a good friend, or use reality to hit.

Either way, it can be solved by hitting. In fact, there are very few people.

The vast majority of people in this world are neither able to realize themselves nor have such clever friends, and at the same time they are obsessed with setbacks in reality.

such as Luo Tuo Xiangzi, he suffered all kinds of blows, he neither chose to join the revolution, nor did he choose to keep striving for self-improvement. He had no choice with these kinds of methods of resistance, he chose to lie flat and be fucked.

Anyone, in any era , As long as his personal freedom has not been restricted,He always has a way to resist. Of course, people who are enlightened should know that his struggle is possible and that there will be sacrifices, but he still chooses to fight.

Attacking Mongolia is the last and most effective means to break into Mongolia.

Because truth is always within the range of the cannon.

No matter it is to yourself or to others.

Hot hands, smashed cups, it's hard to talk about family and death; spring is full of flowers, mountains, rivers and earth are Tathagata.
