Poor people attacked as emperor
Speaking of grassroots emperors, probably everyone will think of Liu Bang . However, Zhu Yuanzhang should be even better than Liu Bang. Among the rulers throughout the ages, the birth of the founding emperor Zhu Yuanzhang of the Ming Dynasty is probably the most hasty.
was born by accident. Only the rags he picked up were used to cover his body. When he was young, he was hungry and wandering. Who would have thought that the greatest life ideal of the future Emperor Taizu in his early years was to be able to eat a full meal happily?
In such an environment, he changed from a kind, compassionate person to a ruthless emperor who regards human life like a straw.
Those tragic experiences made him hard, cold, and cruel. The innocence in his eyes has long been replaced by the cool air of the rash. "The meaning of the will is clear and unpredictable" in the history books portrays it as a three-pointer.
The cruel reality taught him to grow up, and the hardship he experienced made him dare to take risks, and finally with his unique courage, he counterattacked from the humble poor peasant to the noble emperor.
As everyone knows, the word counterattack is not easy, because he has experienced the lowest level of abuse and suffering, he created the impeccable emperor Zhu Yuanzhang.
So if life is not going well, face it calmly and overcome it bravely, this is just a test for you.
Staying in the temple was framed
During Zhu Yuanzhang's exile, the trip to the temple was a turning point in his life. He has been a monk in the temple for three years, which was the rare comfort during his youth in exile.
He is talented and intelligent, has good understanding ability, and has strong hands-on ability. He stands out in the temple. This will undoubtedly be jealous of the monk with a lot of experience, and he will be kicked out of the temple by the abbot because of framing.
At first he was aggrieved because of being wronged, but now that he has experienced so much suffering, he will only want them to repay it even more.
and what he doesn’t know is,The abbot has long discovered his uniqueness, thinking that he shouldn't stay in the temple and spend his life doing nothing, he should have a real future that belongs to him.
So the abbot didn't believe him, but felt that he should get out of the temple and explore the world that belonged to him.
Many times, we should really thank those who embarrass us. Some of them are well-intentioned and their starting point is for our own good, and some of them simply want to make things difficult for us.
But no matter what the starting point is, if we cross this hurdle, then we will achieve a better self. After all, only through the baptism of wind and rain can you be more outstanding.
Take the abbot driving Zhu Yuanzhang out of the temple. In a way, if the abbot did not do this, there would be no Zhu Yuanzhang now.
The overlord returns and wants to kill
As expected, Zhu Yuanzhang, who is called the emperor, returned to the temple with a murderous suit. When he walked into the temple, he remembered the short-term warmth before, and felt soft in an instant, but when he thought of the slander of the senior monk and the distrust of the abbot, he was kicked out of the temple so easily, and he wanted to be shameful.
When he saw the Buddha statues, he made a plan and asked the abbot: "I am the emperor, do I need to kneel down and worship these Buddha statues?" The air instantly solidified. Everyone knew that Zhu Yuanzhang had never taken human life seriously since he became the emperor.
What's more, he was framed and slandered before, causing him to be expelled from the temple. This is obviously a proposition for giving away.
If you want to worship, you don’t put him in your eyes, and if you don’t, you don’t respect the Buddha. No matter why Zhu Yuanzhang has a reason to bloodbath the entire temple.
At this moment, the abbot uttered eight words unhurriedly. After hearing this, Zhu Yuanzhang not only did not kill, but did not even punish him. Instead, he paid a lot of money for rewards.
What kind of words can make the murderous Zhu Yuanzhang willing to ignore the previous suspicions and let go of the past?
Cleverly dissolve and show wisdom
This sentence is "the Buddha now does not worship the past Buddha", which means that the Buddha in front of you is just the past Buddha.Zhu Yuanzhang was different, he was the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty.
can be described as "all the world, can it be the king's land, the land of the land, is it the king's court", he is now the Buddha.
These short eight characters equate him with the status of the Buddha, which not only shows his majesty as the emperor, but also does not underestimate the Buddha statue. It is really ingenious.
As early as Ouyang Xiu's " return to the field", it is recorded that Song Taizu Zhao Kuangyin also asked the same question. Zen Master Zanning used the eight "now Buddhas do not worship the past Buddhas". The words make my heart happy.
Since then Song Taizu has put this rule in the annals of history, so all emperors of the Song Dynasty did not kneel down when the Buddha statue was visible. The abbot’s words are really superb!
Even if Zhu Yuanzhang hasn't completely calmed down, due to Zhao Kuangyin's example, he is not so furious and has earned a reputation for being unworthy.
It can be seen that Chinese culture is extensive and profound, and such short words saved the life of the entire temple. A thoughtful sentence can make the other person's heart pleased, and even shed light on the past. This is the charm of language.
