China Photographers Association's 2021 batch member development work will be officially announced from now on after preliminary review, review, public announcement and other links. A total of 447 people have been approved to join the meeting. New members can only go through the membership procedures after receiving the official text message notification from the China Photo Association and completing the online training.
Applicants for this batch are from the Photographers Association in 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country, the Photographers Association of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, , the People's Liberation Army, the Central System, etc., and 17 national industry photographers associations, totaling 1,410 people. The review adheres to the principle of "focusing on quality, neglecting quantity, and strict procedures". The judges selected them from the judges' database. The review adopts a "back-to-back" online scoring method, and comprehensive considerations are implemented in various aspects such as applicants' work level, photography history, performance scores, professional titles, and ideology. In the end, 447 applicants became the new batch of members, with a pass rate of 31.7%.
The average age of new members is 53.3 years old, of which 19.2% are under 45 years old; in terms of gender, female photographers account for 24.4%; in terms of occupational categories, professional photographers account for 19.7%; in terms of photography-related workers such as editing, education, theoretical work and organizational work account for 11.9%; in terms of education, the proportion of photographers above college is 92.4%; new photography groups account for 31.1%, showing an upward trend.
The next batch of member development work will be started early next year. Applicants need to log in to the online membership work platform to apply. If the applicant who has not approved this batch of applicants who have applied again, there is no need to fill in the information again, the system will retain their application materials. The applicants only need to modify and improve it and submit it again. However, the application for membership needs to be downloaded and printed after the initial review is approved, and submitted to the affiliated group member unit for unified submission.
