Speaking of Jin Temple, many people know that because there is "Jin Temple" in the middle school Chinese textbook, I can still blurt out: the beauty of Jin Temple is beautiful in the mountains, trees, and water.

Participate in Pingyao International Photography Exhibition 3: Looking for Jinci in the textbook "Chinese"

Shanxi people are bold. There is a Shanxi knife-cut noodle restaurant at the entrance of Qiao Family Courtyard. We went in and tasted it without saying a word. What is surprising is that "let you eat full", even if you eat the second bowl of noodles, you will be charged for one bowl. This is the business philosophy and style of our ancestors’ hometown people.

When leaving the Qiao family compound, Boss Qiao Jianzhong contacted us a small car and sent it directly to the Jinci parking lot in Taiyuan.

Speaking of Jin Temple, many people know that because there is "Jin Temple" in the middle school Chinese textbook, I can still blurt out: The beauty of Jin Temple is beautiful in the mountains, trees, and water.

Before I went to Pingyao, I thought that as soon as the photography exhibition ended, I would go to Taiyuan to find the Jin Temple in the textbook of "Chinese", revisit the classic text of Mr. Liang Heng on the spot, listen to the rhythm and notes of the blending of mountains, trees and water, and have a romantic date with Jin Temple.

At 2.40 pm, we reached Jin Temple and thought that Jin Temple was not big, and playing for 2 hours was enough. However, we were very wrong because in front of Jin Temple was Jin Temple Park surrounded by pavilions and towers.

We wandered in Jinci Park for more than an hour, and finally got to "Jinci" written by Mr. Liang Heng.

Jin Temple? Let’s read the "Jin Temple" written by Mr. Liang Heng:

miles southwest of Taiyuan, there is a mountain called Hanging Urn. There were originally huge rocks on the mountain, like urns hanging upside down. There is a spring gushing out from the foot of the mountain, which is the famous Jinshui . Next to the water at the foot of this mountain, there are more than a hundred halls, halls, buildings, pavilions, pavilions, platforms, bridges and pavilions among the towering ancient trees. Green water and blue waves sing around the corridor, red walls and yellow tiles flash with the shadows of trees, and the long-lasting historical relics and beautiful natural scenery are integrated. This is the famous Jin Temple in Kuching.

At the time of the Western Zhou Dynasty, the young King Cheng Jisong ascended the throne. One day he played with his brother Ji Yu in the courtyard, picked up a piece of landed tung leaves , cut it into the shape of a jade gui, and said, "Give this gui to you and give you a prince of the Tang State." The emperor had no joke, so his brother came to the Tang State at that time, that is, the present Shanxi, and became a prince. "Records of the Grand Historian" calls this "Jiantong Feng Zi". Ji Yu later built water conservancy, and the people of the Tang Dynasty lived and worked in peace and contentment. Later, his son succeeded to the throne. Because there was Jin River in his territory, he changed the Tang Kingdom to Jin Kingdom . People commemorate Ji Yu's achievements, so they built a ancestral hall at the foot of Xuanwen Mountain to worship him, which later generations called him the Jin Temple.

The beauty of Jin Temple is beautiful in the mountains, trees and water.
The mountains here are towering like a barrier, long and extended arms, holding this beautiful monument in your arms. Spring Yellow flowers The mountains are covered with quiet and fragrant; autumn comes, the plants and trees are lush, the sky is high and the water is clear, no matter when you climb the mountain, explore ancient caves, or visit pavilions, you will be happy and happy. The ancient temple is located in this endless mountain, just like a lady half-covering her lute, shy and charming.

The trees here are known for their ancient and vigorousness. There are two old trees, one is Zhoubai , and the other is Tang Huai. The cypress, with its trunk straight, its bark wrinkled, and a few green sparse branches on the top of its crown, lying beside the stone steps, just like an old man saying ancient times; the Tang locust tree has thick waists and three circumferences, with its green branches bent and twisted, but clusters of soft strips are emitted from the old trunk, the green leaves are like covers, and the breeze blows, and the fairy-like demeanor with a crane-haired and childish face. The other pine, cypress, locust and willow outside the waterside hall all show their vicissitudes of life and experience. When people travel there, there is always a kind of solemn feeling of the past. There are also strange shapes, such as the in front of the Holy Mother's Temple, twisting the cypress , rising from the ground and soaring into the sky, but its bark twisted to the left one by one; one circle after another, the silk lines remained uneven, like a smoke spiraling from the ground, and a rope hanging from the sky. Some of the others were as silence as an old woman carrying water, while others were as strong as a hero supporting the sky, and there were many things. The temple looks particularly quiet and elegant under the protection of ancient trees.

The water here is more, clear, quiet and soft. Walking in the park, there is a deep pool and a small channel here. There is a river under the bridge, a well in the pavilion, a stream by the road, and a fine stream between the stones, like lines like strands; there are blue waves in the forest, like brocade and satin. There was so much water coming out from somewhere, and I didn’t know where it was. I heard the ringing of the pendants, but I couldn’t find a spring. It turned out that it was either hidden in His Highness or hidden behind the pavilion. What's even more lovely is that the water is so clear that it makes people amazing. No matter how deep the canal, pond or well is, as long as the light is good, the fish and gravel are visible, the silk patterns are visible. The water is not very strong. The clear waves pull the long grass vines into strands, spread them at the bottom of the river, hang them on the shore, and weave them into large streamers, passing through the pavilions and pavilions, and keeping them going. Li Bai came here, and once praised: "The flowing water in Jin Temple is like jade, and the green pond is pouring out green eels." You go along the water to admire the pavilions and towers, and often ask yourself: I'm afraid these hundreds of buildings are floating on the water!

However, the most beautiful thing is the ancient culture left to us by our ancestors, which preserves the "three wonders" of ancient buildings in my country.
The first is the Temple of the Holy Mother. This is the main hall of the entire temple, which was built for Yu Hou's mother, Yi Jiang . It was built during the Tiansheng period of the Song Dynasty and rebuilt in the first year of Chongning in the Song Dynasty (1102), and has been around for 880 years. There is a surrounding corridor outside the hall, which is the earliest example that can be found in ancient Chinese buildings. The hall is seven rooms wide and six rooms deep, which is extremely spacious, but there is no pillar. It turned out that the roof structure was supported by wooden columns on the corridor outside the wall. The columns are slightly inward and the four corners are high to form eaves. The roof is connected by yellow and green glazed tiles, and the flying pavilion is majestic. The Virgin Mary and forty-two maids in the clay sculptures of the Song Dynasty in the hall are treasures among the existing Song sculptures in our country. They either dress up, sweep, play music, sing and dance, and have different shapes. The character has a plump and handsome body, a beautiful and round face, a focused look, a smooth dress pattern, and a clever ingenuity is definitely not ordinary.

The second is the wooden carving dragon on the pillar in front of the hall. This is the earliest existing Panlong Hall pillar in my country. It was sculpted in the second year of the Song and Yuan dynasties (1087). The eight dragons each held a big pillar, their eyes were sharp and sharp claws, and the wind was born from the clouds, making them full of vitality. Although it is nearly a thousand years ago, it is still covered with layers of scales and fibrous roots. It is amazing to admire the quality of wood and the essence of craftsmanship.

The third is the Yumang flying beam in front of the hall. This is a square lotus Yumang, but a cross-shaped flying beam is mounted on the marsh, supported by thirty-four octagonal stone pillars. The bridge deck is wide from east to west and south, with north and south wings as. The railings and columns on the bridge are all unique in shape. On the footbridge, they are left and right, like rafting on the water surface. In addition, fish leaps on the clear waves, and the lotus red reflects the sun, so I am really happy and forget to return. This kind of cross beam that breaks through the shape of a bridge is the only example of existing ancient buildings in my country.

The building complex mainly consists of Holy Mother's Hall , including the Hall of Offering Hall, Archway, Bell and Drum Tower, Golden Man Platform, Water Mirror Platform, etc., all of which are simple and beautiful in shape and exquisite in labor. In addition to this group of buildings, the entire temple also has Chaoyang Cave, Santai Pavilion, Guandi Temple, , Wenchang Palace, Shengying Tower, Jingqing Gate, etc. They are all surrounded by mountains and rivers, and houses are built according to the situation, either on the blue waves or hidden in the thick shade, blending creation and artificiality. Even many sketches in the garden are also very ingenious. For example, there was a thin spring hanging down on the rockery, but a white marble stone-carved monk stood at the foot of the mountain. His bright forehead, smiling eyes, shoulder-to-shoulder hands, holding a stone bowl. The water was pouring into the bowl and splashing into the pond under his feet, but it couldn't fill the bowl.

Monk is like this, standing stupidly day by day. There was also a big stone tiger suddenly running towards the clear stream. Its front paws grabbed the stones beside the water, pointed its neck and waist, and its lips were buried just in the water surface, and its momentum seemed to be sucking in all rivers. You go along the foot of the mountain and along the waterfront. It really makes you unable to visit, and you can't enjoy it even if you travel a few times. All literati and poets of all generations have taken a fancy to this good place. To this day, there are still many famous poems written by the stone walls on the stone tablets in front of the corridor. Some of the lyrics are exquisite and the calligraphy is exquisite, which adds a lot of charm to the lake and mountains.

This Jin Temple naturally performed many allusions since Zhou Tang Shuyu to Ren Liguo. That year, Li Shimin raised an army from here to rebel against the Sui Dynasty and won the world. Song Taizong Zhao Guangyi destroyed the Northern Han regime here in the fourth year of Taiping Xingguo (979 AD), thus ending the split situation of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms in Chinese history. In 1959, Comrade Chen Yi visited the Jin Temple and sighed: "Zhou Bai Tang Tang Huai Song Temple, Song Dynasty, and chants all over the Jin Yuan Ming and Qing Dynasties. The people erected monuments to unify the unity of the people, and Guangyi destroyed the Northern Han Dynasty here."
Jin Temple is like this, using her beautiful body to protect these precious historical and cultural cultures. She is truly a shining pearl in the beautiful mountains and rivers of our country.

At 6.17 pm, we took the last photo of Jin Temple and ran towards Taiyuan in the night...

Visiting Jin Temple got a little life experience, that is, Those who know you may not have seen you, and those who have seen you may not have known you.
