Hong Yuan, vice president and secretary-general of the Chinese Society of Cultural Relics said in his speech that the Cultural Relics Photography Special Committee united photography experts and scholars in the cultural relics industry, held rich and vivid activities, cultivated a group of cultural relics photography backbone, and achieved remarkable achievements. The Special Committee on Cultural Relics Photography should improve its political stance, closely combine the study and implementation of the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with the study and implementation of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on cultural relics work, practice the cultural relics work policy in the new era, sing the main theme, promote positive energy, and sing the new era. We must give full play to our professional advantages, improve our professional quality, "make cultural relics alive" through cultural relics photography, tell Chinese stories well, and build an academic platform to exchange academic achievements, train more talents, and spread Chinese culture. We must strengthen organizational construction and consolidate the foundation of all work. The Cultural Relics Photography Special Committee should set up a temporary party group to do a good job in member development, abide by the ideological work system, fund revenue and expenditure management system, personnel management system, and party style and clean government system, and strive to create a clean and upright working environment.

Consultant Qi Qingguo, an advisor to the Cultural Relics Photography Committee, said in his speech that in the information age, disseminating culture and knowledge through visual means will become a more important means. Cultural relics photography should not be limited to the operation and use of photography equipment, but should focus on expressing the understanding, cognition of cultural relics and grasping the dissemination and influence of works. The Cultural Relics Photography Committee should do a good job in training and implement the level of cultural relics photography on the basis of strengthening members' professional skills.

The meeting reviewed the work report of the Cultural Relics Photography Committee, and through the newly revised working rules of the Cultural Relics Photography Committee, the term was changed and re-elected.
The delegates at the meeting conducted academic exchanges on cultural relics photography and expressed their efforts to work together to carry out academic seminars, professional training, exhibition exchanges and other activities to jointly promote innovation in cultural relics imaging technology and improve the level of cultural relics imaging.
