Moreover, the Jinhua Tea Group (all species) is listed as a national second-level key protected wild plant. It is not only a rare ornamental plant , but also has high medicinal and health value. It is known as the "giant panda in the plant world" and "the queen of the tea family". Currently, there are 43 kinds of 5 variants of Jinhua tea in the world, including two types of , Guizhou - Guizhou Jinhua tea and Lirui Jinhua tea. As early as 2007, the same group of plant golden flower tea was included in the new resource food raw material.

Lirui Jinhua Tea (Camellia liberofilamenta) is the only fragrant golden flower tea in the world. Its model specimens were collected from Hengxian , a experts from Guizhou Institute of Forestry Science in 1995. It was officially named in 1997. It is one of the northernmost species in the Golden Flower Tea Group and the only endangered species distributed in Guizhou. There are only more than 20 wild-born mature individuals. After more than 20 years of continuous research, the Academy of Forestry has made major breakthroughs in the technologies of this species' seedling expansion, high-crossing and replacement of crowns, and imitation of wild cultivation under the forest.
