Modern Express News (Correspondent Wang Cheng, Chen Xinyu, Reporter Zhuang Jianxiang) During the National Day holiday, every night, a small tent will be set up on the grass in front of the main building of the Lotus Pond Campus of Yangzhou University, with a shimmer light, full of "camping wind". Next to the tent, students holding photography equipment were concentrated on shooting the starry sky under the guidance of the teacher. This is the "Tent School" training camp for the National Day holiday theme photography that Teacher Hao Song, a School of Journalism and Media, recently launched by the photography major of Yangzhou University.

The "tent school" training camp coincides with the National Day holiday. Teacher Hao Song ingeniously taught the students to use delayed shooting of the National Day morning, high-speed continuous shooting and slow motion recording Chinese martial arts , ethnic dance, portrait photography, etc. In this form of practical course, the students easily mastered the basic knowledge of photography.
Modern Express reporter learned that during the National Day holiday, in order to enrich the campus cultural life during the holiday, the School of Journalism and Media of Yangzhou University has carefully arranged a variety of cultural and entertainment activities such as the New Student Talent Competition and the Open-air Film Festival. Teacher Hao Song’s photography “Tent School” training camp is one of them.
"Let the students learn in "play" middle school. It is always my teaching style. It coincides with the festival. I intend to integrate the elements of the National Day into the practical classroom." As an inter-school elective course, the "Popular Photography" course founded by Mr. Hao Song attracted photography enthusiasts from various campuses and received praise from the crowd.
Considering that in daily classroom learning, students do not have much opportunity or time to experience the "tent creation method", and the holiday time is abundant, Hao Song simply set up a tent on campus and took a romantic creative journey of "a place in the world, poetry and distance".
From learning the principle of obtaining images to shooting portraits, still lifes, starry sky and streets, under the leadership of Teacher Hao Song, the students used the camera to observe and completed a group of wonderful and unique documentary and creative photos. "The School of Journalism and Media has always attached great importance to the cultivation of students' practical hands-on ability." Zhang Hao, dean of the School of Journalism and Media, introduced that the "tent school" is novel, down-to-earth and popular. In the future, the college will open more interesting and effective "tent school".
