Guatemala's "Soy502" news network reported that this year's "Andréi Stenin" International News Photography Competition was held in Russia, with more than 3,000 photographers from 54 countries participating. According to reports, Biba's award-winning work was filmed in 2021. At that time, a huge team of illegal immigrants in Honduras arrived at the Guatemala border and tried to cross Guatemala and head north to the United States. Biba's works record the moment of conflict breaking out between immigrants and the garrisoned Guatemalan security forces.
Biba has 15 years of photography experience, and his photography works are also highly praised internationally.
