2022 is a very difficult year. Because I work in a university, the epidemic prevention policies are stricter than those in society, so my movements are greatly restricted, and I have not left the province (Shaanxi) where I am throughout the year. Before September, the situation was not too tense, and you only needed to report to your employer before leaving Xi'an. However, everyone is very "conscious" and travel demand has been reduced to an extremely low level. He leaves Xi'an less than 10 times throughout the year. Among them, three times were in northern Shaanxi, two were Baoji , two were Ankang , and one was Xianyang .

I adjusted my goals in time and started my outdoor hiking experience in Qinling Mountains with the goal of "photographing all over Xi'an". During this period, I met many new friends in the mountaineering and outdoor circles, and walked many outdoor routes together, which was the biggest gain in the second half of the year.January
January started with shooting the snow scene in Xi’an. Xi'an in winter is usually gray and the visibility is very poor, making people have no desire to take pictures. It's only worth taking a picture when it snows.
The most artistic ones are the Wild Goose Pagoda falling snow pictures. The moment I took the photo was the snowiest morning in January. I was not lazy at home. I went to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to take a very beautiful snow scene.
This picture has been used by several students to practice editing. I like this one very much.
The Spring Festival of 2022 was spent in Xi’an. On New Year's Eve, I went to Xi'an to take a group of pictures. This is a photo of monks at Yunju Temple in Xiwutai changing lanterns to celebrate the New Year.

February
In February, it snowed again in Xi'an. This time I am thinking about going to Qinling Mountains to take some snow scenes.
Cuihua Mountain and Nan Wutai are snow scenes that are relatively easy to reach. Finally, I chose Cuihua Mountain and took a set of pictures of snow falling in the Qinling Mountains.
Of course, if you only look at the photos, you can still see them through intensive post-production. The best photo taken on this trip was Baojixia Reservoir.
March
Spring has begun, and the theme of March is flower photography. The Spring jasmine in Huancheng Park , the peach blossoms in Daming Palace , the apricot blossoms in Lantian , and the Zhouzhi plum blossoms are all dazzling.
Usually when I take photos of flowers, I use a SLR lens with a large aperture to blur the flowers and take close-ups. This time, I mainly used drones to shoot, focusing on showing some big scenes. Among them, Qinglong Temple made three trips in total. At the end of March, I finally took the most satisfactory photo.
However, there are large areas of peach blossoms and apricot blossoms along the way, which are very stunning among the withered yellow.
April
Entering April, the rapeseed flowers in Weiyang Palace have entered the most beautiful season. The former imperial palace of the Western Han Dynasty is now filled with rapeseed flowers. The effect is quite shocking.
Compared with Hanzhong rapeseed , Weiyanggong rapeseed comes later. The best viewing period is early April.

As summer enters, the color of the earth begins to turn green. A good photo can be taken casually. This photo was taken of an unknown rural area in Huyi .

At this time, the Qinling Mountains became lush and green. I went to Nanwu Channel three times throughout May and June, and I was very satisfied with every shooting.
Nan Wutai is a good place to shoot sunset around Xi’an. To take pictures of the sunset, it is best to stay one night, otherwise it will be difficult to catch the bus.
One day, I took a few students to take pictures of the blue wheat fields in Shenheyuan.
June
June is the season when wheat matures. The green wheat fields turned golden, and I went to the Shenhe Plateau wheat fields again.
The biggest gain from this trip was taking a photo of an uncle in the village.
The buckwheat flowers in Lantian are also a popular destination this season.
Ever since I got Wu 2, I have always been able to take some different photos of Xi’an. This is the night view of Jinye 2nd Road in Xi'an.
I am actually quite scared of flying drones in this area. It is easy to lose signal.
July
continues to South Wutai. Stayed one night on the mountain and finally took a photo of the sunset.
The clouds in Nanwutai in summer are rolling and relaxing, which is a good time to shoot time-lapse.
The sky was high and the clouds were dark, so I took a photo of Mausoleum of the First Emperor of Qin .

I spent the entire next July in my hometown in Ankang. During this period, I went to take pictures of Shiquan Guiguling with Chinese Business News friends.

August
When the weather is good, continue to shoot Xi'an. This is the Small Wild Goose Pagoda taken on a certain day in August.
At that time, a child wanted to play with my drone, and I let her experience it for a while.
Daming Palace has always been a place I wanted to take photos of but failed to do so well. I took a photo once in August and the weather was not very good.
It’s cloudy in the city, but with the altitude several hundred meters higher, the scenery may be different. A new outdoor friend I met this year, Brother Zhang, took me to Tianzi Valley . The drone climbed more than 300 meters and finally penetrated above the clouds.

It was the last day to shoot the Ankang night scene. By 7:30, the sun had set and the night scene still had no lights on, so we were all going to give up. Later, it finally opened at almost 8 o'clock, and I took a group of bright Ankang night scenes.
September
In September, the situation suddenly became tense. Students did not report on time and took online classes for a long time. In the next few months, I never left Xi'an.

The biggest reward from this trip to Xianyang was the Jinghe Gorge. I have never been to this place before, and the photos are amazing.
October
The theme of October is photographing red leaves.
Qinling Mountains has entered the most beautiful season, this is the aerial photography of Diliang.
Guifeng Mountain is the representative of the Qinling Mountains’ red leaves, and there are many tourists climbing the mountain.

I also went to Cuihua Mountain twice in November. There was a heavy fog and nothing was photographed.
The drone traveled more than 400 meters before taking pictures of the scenery above the clouds.

Autumn is coming to an end, and the winter scenery is about to begin.
November
The theme of November is photographing the sea of clouds. Because the Qinling Mountains have lost their green color, the element that can add color to the picture at this time is the sea of clouds. This is the fourth time I have visited Nanwutai this year, and I finally photographed a sea of clouds.
Guanyin Mountain and Sea of Clouds was also quite satisfying to shoot in November.
The cost of shooting these landscapes is too high, almost every time it takes a whole day to climb.
In addition to the sea of clouds, I took the time to take pictures of the ginkgo trees in Guanyin Temple.
The biggest activity in November was taking an ice crystal top outdoor route. Among the outdoor routes around Xi'an, this is considered a four-star rating, 7.5 kilometers and 1,600 meters above sea level.
Two friends with very rich outdoor experience took me to complete this trip and stayed one night on the mountain. Sunrise, sunset, starry sky, everything was captured.

December
In December, continue to find some low-altitude areas to climb. I climbed Guifeng Mountain from Wusangyu and saw Tiansheng Bridge.
I went to Guifeng Mountain again after a month, and there were far fewer people.

Lantian Yuntai Mountain is a difficult mountain to climb this year. There is a lot of ice and snow on the road, the temperature is very low, and the climbing is relatively difficult.

The last outdoor trip in 2022 is Jianyu Ridge, Lantian. Walked alone.
Jianyu Ridge is more than 2,500 meters above sea level and is the second highest peak in the East Qinling Mountains. But the road was surprisingly easy to walk because there was no ice.
From Jianyu Ridge, you can take pictures of Cao Lian Ridge in the distance.
After returning from Jianyu Ridge, I also experienced a "disaster" two days later. Although I have basically recovered, my shooting life in 2022 is over.
