Today is an important day, and it is the 73rd anniversary of our country.

In these 73 years, we have experienced too many changes and have used our own wisdom to make ourselves stronger and stronger. Especially in the past decade, we can increasingly feel that the country and nation are becoming more and more prosperous on the road to rejuvenation.

On National Day in 1991, I was walking on the street covered by heavy fog. When I passed by the town government, I vaguely saw a figure cleaning the road. When I walked to my side, I realized that it was my uncle. He was wearing a blue Zhongshan outfit and working on the dirt road with a broom in his hand.

Thirty years are only in the blink of an eye, but I can still remember that moment clearly.

not only because my uncle took out 30 cents from his shirt pocket and asked me to buy sesame cakes, but also because four huge bright red lanterns were hung on the gate of the town government behind my uncle, with four big words written in a brush: "Celebrating National Day."

At that time, my parents were working far away from home. As a left-behind child, I could only see the delicious food of Shaobing from afar. After getting the 30 cents, I bought a piece of sesame cake sprinkled with sesame in the sesame cake shop at the corner of East Street. It was from that day that the concept of National Day truly remained in my heart. Even during National Day, I always subconsciously paid attention to the lanterns hanging at the door of the unit and the community, and looked for the four big words "celebrating National Day".

These bright red lanterns are here every year. Unfortunately, there are no more hand-written four big words "Celebrating National Day" and replaced by gilded printing.

73 years of history is not easy for the country, and being able to develop to this day's prosperity is the result of generations of hard work. If our generation is still literally pursuing the past history, then in the past decade, especially since the outbreak of new crown , we have truly felt the rapid development of the country and nation, and have experienced the sense of security, honor and happiness under the protection of a strong country.

For a family, things have changed in 73 years, and family changes are inevitable. But no matter which family it is, it is in line with the development of the entire country and is an inseparable organic whole. From my grandfather who worked as a long-term worker for the landlord's family to my father who went out to work. I often wore patched clothes when I was a child, and now I buy new clothes and I will put them there for a long time now.

From a cousin who died bravely in the counterattack against the outside world, to an old uncle who worked diligently and busy all his life. From my grandma who took out money from her handkerchief to pay the party dues before she died, to dopamine who walked out of the countryside and came to the city. From you who are far away from the other end of the screen to him who is still standing at his post today. Every family and every person seem ordinary, but they reveal greatness.

For individuals, 73 years have passed too long, and it is even enough to make a person become history or be forgotten. However, this individual is indispensable. Just a few hours ago, I was walking in the community and occasionally heard a conversation between a father and son. The child asked, "Does there be 1.4 billion people in our country?" Dad replied, "Yes, one of them is you." This was a very normal conversation, but it caused a stir in my heart at that moment.

The father's answer is not only resonant, but also leaves a seed in the child's heart, allowing the child to invisibly enhance his sense of identity with this country and this nation, so that the child knows that he is the master of this country, and this seed will eventually become a towering tree one day.

When I was a child, I lived at my grandfather's house for several consecutive years.

Under the big pear tree, there is a thatched house, where an old buffalo was sleeping, and grandpa and me were also asleep. Under that kerosene lamp, I learned from my grandfather that those difficult experiences, including the time I fought for life.

I have also shaped my original outlook on life and world from my grandfather’s countless “stories”.

Later, my grandfather fell ill. Cancer was diagnosed due to abdominal pain and black stool. When he was seeking medical treatment, he was already in advanced cancer . There was no surgery, no chemotherapy, and I prescribed some oral medication and returned home. In fact, even these oral medicines were just placebos, because the doctor's reply was: "Go back and eat a little, wear a little."

When the National Day approached that year, my grandfather finally got rid of the pain and left the world forever. In fact, why did my grandfather delay until the late stage of cancer before seeking medical treatment? When he was tortured by cancer, he could even choose to resist.

The limited medical technology level and lack of sufficient medical knowledge at that time were certainly important reasons, but another more important reason was the limited economic conditions. Even even those inexpensive oral medication costs, my grandfather still misses them. After all, for farmers like my grandfather, they needed to sell food to see a doctor at that time.

Later, my grandma also died of cerebral hemorrhage . Although he was still not rich at that time, he could afford to see a doctor.

A few months ago, I returned to my hometown and attended my second uncle's funeral. My second uncle still went to accompany his parents after two years of fighting esophageal cancer. During the two years when my second uncle was ill, he was hospitalized in top hospitals in the provincial capital many times, using the world's most front-line drugs. Although this is also a considerable expense, it makes the entire family feel tremendous pressure. However, compared with my grandpa and grandma, my second uncle's treatment process is much better.

If time goes back to the past, the second uncle's treatment process will inevitably be like grandpa, and he will be delayed until the end and then lose the opportunity for treatment, including the last two years.

As an ordinary farmer, Erwei also obtained high-quality medical resources after falling ill. This is the progress of the times and a change that we have never paid attention to.

There are many people attending the funeral of my second uncle. The relatives come from all over the country, and everyone has their own experience of struggle. Although it is far apart, it can still arrive day and night under the current convenient transportation conditions.

While mourning, I noticed that the cowshed where I used to live with my grandfather was gone, and replaced by a whole row of large cowsheds, which had more than a dozen scalpers and buffaloes. This is the result of my cousin's hard work during the busy farming period.

Looking at the hometown that changes so much that it makes people feel strange, I can't help but think of the miserable years that my grandfather mentioned.

At the funeral, I asked my uncle, who was hunched over, if he still remembered the sesame cake I bought for me that National Day. My uncle can no longer remember these long-standing things, but he said that he is very satisfied with his current life, with a lot of children and grandchildren, and is in good health. Not only do he plant a lot of crops, but he can also earn a lot of living expenses by doing odd jobs in the town. Although life is still not easy, those sufferings are long gone.

This is the result of each of us’s efforts and the changes in the entire country.

73 years, we have been working hard, we have been changing, we will get better and better. The dopamine, who once wore patched clothes and drooled for a piece of sesame cake, is now sitting in the building, using a computer, drinking tea, and sharing these words with everyone.

As long as you feel it with your heart, you will find it and you will agree with dopamine. Each of us is an indispensable part of our seemingly inconspicuous work to contribute to this country. We are ordinary and great, we are humble and dazzling.

National Day is not only a national festival, but also our own festival.

Wish our country to flourish and wish everyone a better life
