West Sea is a wetland in the west of Zhaoyuan city. People in their hometown call it "Western Sea".

Sometimes you can see a few wild flowers frozen in the ice layer, just like a natural three-dimensional watercolor painting. That is called God's gift, with a unique charm that is difficult for craftsmen to describe and skillful hands to draw. I dare say that although I don’t know much about calligraphy and painting, I have not seen that painter painted paintings under the ice layer so far. There are many small fish and shrimps in the West Sea, all of which are wild. People rarely disturb the fish here. When you cast a net and fish, you can go to Songhua River . There are still the most wild ducks, including mallard duck , red duck , spot-billed duck , and a duck with tassels on its head. Groups of wild ducks were playing freely, flying east and west, circling in the air for a while, and when they were tired, they fell into the water and grass to play. They regard the West Sea as their home, reproduce and thrive here, and accompany others. The West Sea was once a paradise for these water birds, and they came here every year.
