the dance drama "ying ge", created and performed by the guangzhou song and dance theatre, began its 2025 national tour in february and has since traveled to cities such as shanghai and jingdezhen. the production highlights "chinese warrior dance"—the yingge dance—throughout its performance, sparking a wave of enthusiasm wherever it is staged. on april 26th, "ying ge" was staged twice at the shanghai culture square, achieving a seating rate of over 90% and selling out all its cultural creative merchandise.
in contrast to the passionate energy of "ying ge", another dance drama, "blooming life", created by the guangdong song and dance theatre, touches the tenderest parts of the audience's hearts. this production centers on the interaction between a mother with alzheimer's disease and her son, capturing the unique emotional depth and generational bonds of chinese families. this performance in beijing coincided with mother's day and received widespread acclaim.
in addition to these two new creations, the chaozhou opera troupe from guangdong traveled thousands of miles to bring the classic chao opera "yi chun" to the stage in suzhou, jiangsu province. "yi chun" tells the love story of chen san and huang wuniang, seamlessly blending chaozhou's traditional culture, folklore, and operatic artistry.
not only has guangdong's "artistic ensemble" performed across provinces in china, but it has also ventured overseas, presenting the charm of chinese traditional culture to international audiences.
from april 25th to 26th, the shenzhen-originated dance drama ''wing chun'' was performed three times at moscow's bolshoi theatre, achieving both box office success and critical acclaim. according to preliminary statistics, the three commercial performances of "wing chun" achieved a 100% seating rate, with a total of 3,777 market tickets sold and 786 tickets purchased by members and sponsors. over 90% of the audience were local russian patrons, and the total box office revenue reached nearly 20.7 million rubles (approximately 1.84 million rmb), setting and breaking several records for chinese cultural performances overseas.
during the performances, in celebration of the 270th anniversary of moscow state university, the lead performers of "wing chun" visited the campus to host a "sharing session." they conducted on-site teaching of wing chun, tai chi, and baguazhang, vividly showcasing the cultural and artistic power that transcends borders.
additionally, the 47th moscow international film festival held the opening ceremony of its chinese opera film screening on april 19th local time, where the guangdong han opera film "jin lian" made its official debut at the "october cinema" in moscow. at the screening, moscow theater experts and audiences, many of whom were watching an opera film for the first time, were captivated by jin lian's classical and poetic visuals as well as her elegant, melodious vocal performance. lead actress and han opera artist li xianhua remarked, "guangdong han opera has a history of over 300 years and is known as the 'peony of southern china.' the beauty of art is a universal language that transcends borders. i believe this screening is not just a cultural exchange but also a meaningful collision, building a cultural bridge between china and russia through the medium of opera films."

廣東「藝術天團」跨省出海
近期，廣東的「藝術天團」很忙，攜新創的精彩劇目奔赴全國各地舞台。
廣州歌舞劇院創演的舞劇《英歌》於今年2月開啟2025年全國巡演，至今已走過上海、景德鎮等多個城市。該劇以「中華戰舞」——英歌舞貫穿始終，巡演所到之處，引發觀演熱潮。4月26日，舞劇《英歌》登陸上海文化廣場連演2場，上座率超九成，文創周邊售罄。
與舞劇《英歌》的激昂不同，廣東歌舞劇院創演的另一部舞劇《人在花間住》用舞姿觸動觀眾心底最柔軟的部分。這部舞劇以一位阿爾茨海默病母親與兒子的互動為核心，展現中國家庭獨有的細膩情感和代際羈絆。此次在北京站演出正值母親節檔期，收穫了眾多好評。
除了以上兩部新創作品，廣東潮州市潮劇團也遠赴千里，攜潮劇經典《益春》登上江蘇蘇州舞台。《益春》講述了陳三與黃五娘的愛情故事，將潮州的傳統文化、民間傳奇和戲曲藝術巧妙地融合在一起。
不僅在國內跨省演出，廣東「藝術天團」還走出國門，讓海外觀眾領略中華優秀傳統文化的魅力。
4月25日至26日，深圳原創舞劇《詠春》在俄羅斯莫斯科大劇院連演3場，實現票房口碑雙豐收。經初步統計，《詠春》這3場商業演出，上座率均為100%，累計售出市場票3777張、會員及贊助商購票786張，其中俄羅斯當地觀眾佔比超90%，總票房收入近2070萬盧布（約合人民幣184萬元），創造並刷新了中國文化演出項目出海的多項票房紀錄。
演出期間，在莫斯科大學建校270周年之際，《詠春》主演們還走進校園舉辦「分享會」，現場教學詠春拳、太極拳、八卦掌等，生動詮釋了藝術跨越國界的人文力量。
此外，第47屆莫斯科國際電影節於當地時間4月19日舉行中國戲曲電影展映開幕式，廣東漢劇電影《金蓮》在莫斯科「十月電影院」開啟官方展映。展映現場，第一次觀賞戲曲電影的莫斯科戲劇專家和觀眾為《金蓮》古典唯美的畫面和古樸婉轉聲腔而嘆為觀止。該片領銜主演、漢劇表演藝術家李仙花表示：「廣東漢劇有300多年歷史，被譽為『南國牡丹』。藝術之美是沒有國界的世界語言，相信這次展映是一次文化碰撞和交流，以戲曲電影的形式為中俄兩國搭建文化藝術之橋。」
