Reading Hastily and Without Thinking

Once upon a time, there was a young man who was eating a pear while walking.

囫囵吞枣

从前,有一个年轻人,他边走路边吃着梨。

这时候,迎面走过来一位老人。看到年轻人大口地吃着梨,他忍不住说:“年轻人啊,梨可不宜吃得太多。虽然它对牙齿有好处,但是吃多了对脾胃不好。”

年轻人听了,连忙从口袋里拿出几颗枣,问老人:“那枣怎么样呢?对身体好不好?”

老人回答:“枣倒是有补脾的作用,但是吃多了会伤害牙齿。”

年轻人听了,想了一会儿,又眉开眼笑了。

他对老人说:“哦,我有办法了。我可以吃梨的时候,只在嘴里嚼一嚼,不咽到肚子里去;吃枣的时候,不用牙齿咬,把枣整颗吞下去。这样,就可以既不伤脾胃,又不坏牙齿了。” 说完,把枣放进嘴里,一口吞了下去,结果立刻被噎住了。
