很好的寓言故事，说的是一个富有的商人，拥有四个妻子，最爱的是老四，其次是老三，老二，老大最不爱，虽然原配最爱他。

他得了绝症不久于人世，他就挨个问四个妻子“will you follow me and keep me company?”

下面是老四到老大的回答，依次是：

the 4th wife "No way!"

the 3rd wife "Life is so good over here! I'm going to remarry when you die!"

the 2nd wife "I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time! At the very most, I can only send you to your grave. "

这时候一个声音响起（a voice called out）"I'll leave with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go."

每个人的一生都存在着这四个妻子。

第四个妻子代表我们的BODY，无论我们浪费多少时间和精力去打扮她，死后她总会离我们而去。

第三个妻子代表我们的土地、地位和财产（Possessions, status and wealth）。我们死后，她就会归属别人。They all go to others.

第二个妻子是我们的家人和朋友(family and friends)。无论活着的时候她离我们多近，我们死后她最多只能陪伴我们到下葬为止。

第一个妻子是我们的灵魂SOUL，是我们在追求物质、财富和肉体欢娱时经常忽略的东西。

GUESS WHAT? 永远与我们相随的是我们的灵魂，或许现在去改善和修养自己的灵魂要比等到在灵床上后悔要好得多。
