practice
practice既可以用作名词，也可以做动词，英式英语动词形式为practise。
Practice makes perfect.
I like playing volleyball. Sometimes we practice after school.
practice doing sth. 练习做某事
He often practices playing the violin on the playground in the morning.
keep on doing sth.
keep on doing sth. 意为"继续做某事"，表示克服困难继续坚持，强调反复性和决心，可接非延续性动词（表示反复），也可接延续性动词。
She kept on raising her hand.
易混辨析 keep on doing/ keep doing
( 1 ) keep on doing表示动作反复，强调动作与动作之间有时间间隔及某人不怕困难或警告坚持做某事的决心。
They would have preferred to keep on working.
( 2 ) keep doing 表示连续不断的动作，或某一动作的持续状态。
The boy kept watching the passing traffic at the gate.
be sure about
be sure意为"确信，有把握"，其常用结构：
( 1 ) be sure to do sth. 一定会做.....
You are sure to fail if you do it that way.
( 2 ) be sure of/ about sth. 对......有把握
Are you sure of/ about time?
( 3 ) be sure + that从句 相信......
Can we be sure that she's right?
( 4 ) make sure 查明，弄清，确保

send
send 做动词，意为"寄，发送，派遣，打发"，其过去式和过去分词均为sent，常见搭配：
send sth. 发送/寄某物
send sb. sth. = send sth. to sb. 把某物寄（送）给某人（sth.为代词时，只能用send sth. to sb. 结构）
send sb. to do sth. 派遣某人去做某事
send sb. to some place 派某人去某地
You'd better send the letter by air.

句式剖析

这是一个含有时间状语从句的主从复合句。主句是want to be 结构，从句是when引导的时间状语从句。若主从句的动作均未发生，则主句用一般将来时，祈使句或含有情态动词的句子，从句用一般现在时代替一般将来时。
I'm going to play basketball when I finish my homework.
考点提炼：
grow up 常用来指人或动物长大、成年或成熟。

grow up还可以引申为"发展"的意思。

"be going to + 动词原形" 在句中做谓语，是一般将来时的一种表达形式，表示主语打算、准备或有信心去做某事，其中going并不表示"去；而以前学过的"be going to + 表示地点的名词"是表示主语打算、准备去某地的意思，其中going表示"去"，to 是介词，后跟表示地点的名词。比较：
We are going to play tennis this afternoon.
We are going to Beijing this afternoon.

why you're so good at writing stories为宾语从句，做know的宾语。宾语从句要用陈述语序。
Please tell me how old you are.
Do you know what his name is.
Not everyone know what they want to be.
what they want to be是一个宾语从句。注意宾语从句要用陈述句语序。
试比较：
你可以告诉我们刚才你做了什么。
误：You can tell us what did you do just now.
正：You can tell us what you did just know.
析：在宾语从句中，从句一般要用陈述句语序。
考点提炼：部分否定
not everyone意为"不是每个人"。在英语中，not与all, every, everyone, both, everything等词连用时表示部分否定，意为"并不都......"。
Not everyone likes the outdoor activities.
