廣欽老和尚（1892-1986），誕生於福建省惠安縣塗寨鎮和弄村黃姓家中。因家境清寒，自幼即體弱多病，惟宿具慧根，隨母奉佛茹素，稍長，養父母相續去世，所遺田地，近親覬覦之。師深感世事無常頓萌出家之念，遂將田地分送近親，投泉州承天寺出家。
