The Chongyang Festival is celebrated on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month. It's also known as the Double Ninth Festival. In China, nine has the similar pronunciation with the word meaning forever. During that day, there are several traditional customs for people to follow.
重陽節是在陰曆九月初九，又叫做"重九"。在中國，"九"和"久"發音相同。在那一天，民間會有好些個傳統的習俗。

Eating Chongyang cake is another tradition at the festival. There are several kinds of Chongyang cake. The one with nine layers with two sheep on it is the best. Two sheep mean Chongyang, and nine layers show people could do well in everthing.

吃重陽糕是另一種傳統。重陽糕形狀各異。最為講究的重陽糕要做成九層，像座寶塔，上面還做成兩隻小羊，以符合重陽（羊）之義，而九層則寓意人們百事俱高（糕），久久如意！
