this generous "gift" is the newly launched "shenzhen-hong kong 72-hour experience pass" program, a joint initiative by the governments of both cities. it aims to invite global talent to visit, experience, explore, and collaborate in the greater bay area, offering 500 flight tickets, 200 coastal rooms, and 1,000 high-paying job matching opportunities to send a powerful global message in attracting top talent.
the target beneficiaries of the "shenzhen-hong kong 72-hour experience pass" are overseas professionals and entrepreneurs interested in pursuing career development or launching ventures in hong kongand/or shenzhen, with a focus on three groups: "distinguished professionals," "innovation & technology (i&t) talents," and "emergingtalent."
among them, "distinguished professionals" refer to faculty members, scholars, or researchers from world-renowned universities; "innovation & technology (i&t) talents" refer to research professionals or executives from leading global technology companies; "emerging talent" refers to high-achieving graduates or professionals from prestigious universities worldwide. qualified candidates may submit applications. selection will be based on a comprehensive assessment of academic background, working experience, research achievements, and other relevant factors of individual applicants.

72小時，在深港雙城能做什麼？是參訪深港頂尖高校、科創園區及世界級科企，還是漫步維港兩岸、登臨「灣區之光」，又或者在國際金融中心與中國硅谷，探索事業新機遇？以上都可以！而且不論你身處世界何處，都包機票！住濱海房！全程補貼費用！
以上「大禮包」，就是深港兩地政府攜手推出的「深港72小時體驗券」計劃，目的是邀全球人才來灣區參訪、體驗、考察、合作，並為此提供500張機票、200間濱海房以及1000個高薪崗位對接機會，向世界釋放全球攬才的強烈信號。
「深港72小時體驗券」的目標使用人群是「有意來香港、深圳工作、創業的海外人士」，並重點聚焦「卓越人才、創科人才和青年人才」三大群體。
其中，「卓越人才」指國際知名大學教授、學者或研究員；「創科人才」指國際知名科技企業科研人才或管理人才；「青年人才」指國際知名大學優秀人才。只要符合上述「基本資格」之一的申請人，都可以遞交申請。深港兩地相關部門將根據學習經歷、工作經驗、科研成就等，綜合判斷是否入選體驗計劃。
