其實，我們日常生活中最常見的吸管已經成為了一種不容忽視的污染源。

大部分塑料吸管的最終命運是落入垃圾填埋場或漂浮在海洋上。

漂浮的吸管可能對海洋生物造成嚴重的傷害。而吸管產生的有毒有害微塑料顆粒通過食物鏈累積，最終可能進入人體，威脅人類健康。

In a time when the world searches for ways to reduce plastic waste, pasta straws might be one of the answers.

在這個全世界都在尋找減少塑料垃圾方法的時代，“意大利麵吸管”很可能成為解決這個難題的答案之一。

目前，意大利的一些酒吧已經開始用“意大利麵吸管”代替普通的塑料吸管。同時也已經有一家公司在製作並銷售意麵吸管。

意麵吸管嘗起來如何

意麵吸管比紙質吸管更好，又不會改變飲料的味道。

The straws are the same shape and size as a standard plastic straw. Unlike a paper straw, they don't taste like wet paper; they don’t change the flavor of the drink.

這種吸管的形狀和尺寸與標準塑料吸管的相同。它們不會像紙質吸管那樣嘗起來像潮濕的紙，意麵並不會改變飲料的味道。

使用壽命

意麵吸管在喝冷飲和熱飲時，使用壽命不盡相同。

The pasta straws last 1 hour in cold drinks, and the colder the drink, the longer one can use them. That means, the drink can be refilled multiple times and Stroodles can be reused across multiple drinks.

喝冷飲時，這種意麵吸管可以保持1小時不變軟，而且飲品越涼，吸管的使用時間就越長。這意味着飲料可以多次續加，意麵吸管也可以在這個過程中被重複使用。

As for hot drinks, it is not recommended in general to drink hot drinks through a straw, due to risk of burning oneself, but then again, when used as a stirrer, ie. for coffee and for a few seconds, that's totally fine.

至於熱飲，因為有燙傷的危險，所以一般不建議使用吸管。但如果是用於攪拌咖啡等熱飲，這種短短几秒的操作對於意麵吸管來說是完全沒有問題的。

意麵吸管怎麼處理

泡軟了的吸管完全可食用，如果你不喜歡它的味道，也可以扔掉它，也不會污染環境。

If you're nursing a drink for hours and the pasta eventually softens, you can choose to eat it. The raw straw is also edible.

如果你一杯飲料喝了幾個小時，這根意麵吸管最終會軟化，你可以選擇吃掉它。當然沒有被使用的吸管也是可以食用的。

Or they can be left on the compost heap when people are finished with them.

或者，當人們用完吸管後，也可以扔掉它們任其腐爛。

公司的創始人Maxim Gelmann表示，希望能夠通過引發廣泛的連鎖反應對世界產生長遠的影響。

"We thereby want to attract and reach the less (environmentally) conscious people and show them, how easy it is to make sustainable changes and have them enter their life."

如今很多企業如星巴克、麥當勞等接連宣布逐漸停止使用塑料吸管，通過改用可回收式無吸管杯蓋，或其他替代材質吸管的方式減少吸管污染。
