The boy walks through a farm and meets a chicken.

男孩穿過一個農場，遇到了一隻雞。

"Can you help me?" the chicken says.

雞說：“你能幫幫我嗎?”

"I wake up early and sit on two eggs all day. Could you watch them while I eat?"

“我醒得很早，一整天都坐在兩個雞蛋上。我吃飯的時候你能幫我照看一下它們嗎?”

The boy agrees. The chicken leaves and suddenly—crack!

男孩同意了。雞離開了。突然，雞蛋裂開了！

A chick hatches from the first egg and an "E" hatches from the second.

第一個蛋中孵化出來一隻小雞，第二個蛋中孵化出一個“E”。

The chicken comes back and says, "Thank you! Take this 'E'. It will help you on your journey."

雞回來後說:“謝謝你！把這個“E”送給你吧。它會對你的旅途有所幫助的。”

The boy thanks the chicken for the "E" and continues on his way.

男孩感謝雞給了他“E”，然後就繼續趕路了。
