Tencent Cloud Gui’an Qixing Data Center is located in Gui’an New District, Guizhou Province, with a total area of about 470,000 square meters, of which the area in the first phase of the tunnel is more than 30,000 square meters. It is the first green in China to achieve a high level of protection According to the plan, the high-efficiency disaster recovery data center will store 300,000 servers in all the parks. On May 29, 2018, Tencent Cloud Gui'an Seven Star Data Center officially started the first phase of trial operation. In the future, it will be used to store Tencent's core big data.

Data centers have high requirements for heat dissipation. The annual average temperature in Gui'an New District is relatively low, which effectively improves the heat dissipation efficiency of data centers. This is very helpful for activating the development of big data in Guizhou Province in the future, and at the same time allows more big data projects to land in Gui'an.
As the first communications operator to settle in Gui'an New District, the overall planning area of the Gui'an Mobile Big Data Center is 275 acres, with a building area of 190,000 square meters, and a planned 21,000 racks. The overall project is divided into three phases, and the first phase project has been completed and put into use. The first phase of the project covers an area of 46,000 square meters, including 24,900 square meters of the new green data center. The second phase of the project is planned as a data room, in which a total of 9 standard IDC room modules will be built to provide external services, with a total area of about 5600 square meters. The third phase of the project is planned as a data room and office supporting facilities, and is expected to be completed in 2021.

According to the plan, by 2025, the number of servers in the Gui'an New Area will reach 4 million, and the fixed asset investment in the data center will exceed 40 billion yuan. It may become the country's largest high-security, green, and intensive data center base.
