According to the British "Mirror" report on August 27, 2020, Robert Maudsley (Robert Maudsley) murdered three people in prison, and he is now considered the most dangerous prisoner in Britain. Currently, Mozley is kept alone in a glass box deep in Wakefield prison.
Robert Mozley
As a triple killer, Mozley has been in prison since 1974, when he was only 21 years old.
But even the prison failed to stop the violence of this fierce killer. Since he was locked up, he has murdered three other people.
Mozley is now considered a very dangerous person. He is no longer allowed to contact other prisoners or even guards. He is kept alone in a glass box deep in the prison every day. He is likely to live in this small and transparent room for decades to come until his death.
It is reported that this serial killer has 12 brothers and sisters who were sent to an orphanage at a very young age. In his early years, he lived in Nazareth House, a Catholic orphanage in Merseyside. This was a relief for the young Modsley because he hated the noise and poverty at home.
However, when he was 8 years old, his parents took him and his siblings home, after which he suffered years of violent abuse. His father often beat children, and Mozley was beaten frequently to protect his siblings.
At the age of 16, Mozley ran away from home, but soon contracted drugs. Later he made money by being a "rental boy".
Broadmoor Mental Hospital
In 1974, he murdered the first person, his client John Farrell (John Farrell). The deceased showed Mozley a picture of the child he had insulted, and Mozley strangled him to death. Later, Mozley was sentenced to life imprisonment and sent to Broadmoor Psychiatric Hospital, where some of the most dangerous prisoners in the UK are held.
Until 1977, he was kept in a cell with his cellmate David Cheeseman and David Francis, who had been convicted of child injury. For nine hours, they tortured Francis in the most cruel way. Mozley used a spoon to pierce his ears and brain, which earned him the nickname "Hannibal the Cannibal". When the guard smashed the door open, Francis was already dead.
On July 29, 1978, he hanged Salney Darwood, the murderer of his wife, in his cell and hid the body under the bed.
Then, Mozley sneaked in the prison to find the next victim and attacked Bill Roberts, who was in prison for hurting a 7-year-old girl. He stabbed Roberts to death, and then stabbed him in the skull. When Mozley was sure that Roberts was dead, he calmly walked to the guards and told him that there would be two fewer people for dinner tonight.
In 1983, the prison guards built a special cell for Mozley, called the "glass cage", which is very similar to the view that Hannibal Lake was imprisoned in "The Silent Lamb". It is only 5.5 meters long and 4.5 meters wide, and has huge bulletproof windows through which prison guards monitor Mozley.
In 2000, Mozley requested a relaxation of his imprisonment. He wants a pet parrot, and if this request is denied, he also wants a cyanide capsule so that he can end his life. But all his requests were rejected. The
cage is wrapped in a thick transparent acrylic plate, and there is a small slit at the bottom through which the guards can deliver food to the serial killer.
Mozley is kept in a cell for 23 hours a day, with only one hour of exercise time. He was escorted to the playground by 6 guards, and no other prisoners were allowed to contact him.
Wakefield Prison
In a recent interview, Mozley said he felt "painful" in solitary confinement. He explained: "I lack hope, I don't seem to have anything to look forward to. I don't think any prison guard would be interested in me. They only care about when to open the door, and then make sure I get back to the cell as soon as possible."
Zlee claimed that solitary confinement had an impact on his speech, and he was no longer able to speak clearly due to lack of contact.
